Pain and Betrayal

Hurt and betrayal was all I felt. As I stopped in unfamiliar territory, I still didn't care. I had blocked the link out to be alone. The last thing I wanted was to be around Kyo right now. I was in so much pain, my wolf howled. Before I knew it the bushes started to wrestle. I soon heard twigs break. I raised my noise to sniff. Rogues. I had wondered into rogue territory. In a panic I bolted through the trees. As I made my way through leaping and running. My wolf kept screaming at me to call for Kyo, I ignored her. I can get through this myself. I had my vision and I'm strong I knew it deep down. My brother trained me before we got into the accident, and he always said I was a strong she wolf. And I was before the accident, I defeated every she wolf in battles. As I turned the corner a brown wolf tackled me in full force. I quickly through him off with my hind legs, and grabbed onto his leg with my teeth digging in. I soon tore his front paw off and lunged for his throat. He was dead quick and I was back on the move. Before I got to far two more wolfs were in sight. I quickly through myself there way. The anger I felt for my brother's death and my sight being lost broke through and before I knew it both wolves were dead. My fur was covered in their blood. I soon vomited up the remains of the rogues. I slowly managed to walk my wolf form back to a tree that looked familiar, like home. My wolf was tired I could feel it and I had no choice but to shift back. Before I could shift, I knew I needed to break the wall down to communicate with Kyo. Yes, I was still hurt by his words but I had no choice I was tired and sore. I needed my mate.

'Kyo' I called out through the link.

'Anna! I have been trying to get through to you! Where are you?'

'The pine tree by my house' I responded.

'I'm coming' Before I knew it I saw Kyo and my vision was gone. I was back again. I felt his arms catch me.

"ANNA! What the fuck happened? Why is there blood?"

"It's not mine." I responded and then it went dark.

Waking up in a familiar scent. My bedroom. I kept my eyes closed listening to the voices in the room.

"This is all my fault." Kyo voice brought sadness.

"What the hell did you say to her?" Dakota asked.

"I just..said some hurtful things. She asked if she could train with me and I said no. I didn't know she was that strong."

"Listen, she may be blind but her wolf is vicious. Before her brother died, she beat and toppled all of the she wolfs in our pack. She was on top at the age of 10. 10 fucking years old!! That's almost unheard of. People even made rumors she was an Alpha's child for how strong she was."

"I had no idea." I felt his sadness. Alright it was time to open my eyes, my mate needed me. I slowly opened my eyes and sat up.

"Anna!" Kyo spoke in a hurry beside me.

"Im fine. My side is sore but im fine." I responded.

"You broke two ribs, but you're healing well." Dakota informed. I nodded back.

"What the hell happened?" Kyo asked.

"I was running through the woods, and I heard strange noises I soon noticed it was rogues-" Kyo cut me off.

"Rogues so close to the territory?!" I felt his anger.

"No, I..I was not in the territory."

"What the hell were you thinking?!" Kyo's anger rolled through.

"I wasn't! You-" I stopped myself so I didn't say something hurtful. My cousin spoke up soon after.

"I'm going to go check in with uncle and let him know your awake." I nodded his scent soon left the room.

"Did you find your new Luna!" I don't know why I snapped but I was hurt and it just came out. I felt his arms wrap around my waist.

"Anna, I didn't mean it. I was pissed off and said something hurtful I'm so sorry."

"What about the fact I'm blind and can't protect my pack?"

"Please listen to me. I didn't know you were trained previously to your accident. I just didn't want you to get hurt. Your blind and I know that sounds harsh, but..but." He breathed deeply. "I can't lose you Anna. You're my mate, mine and and.." he took another shaky breath. "I'm in love with you." I felt tears well up in my eyes. I know his words hurt but those words mended the sore wound. I found his face with my hands and pressed my lips to his. The kiss was deep and full of desire. I soon broke from his lips and whispered what my heart wanted.

"I love you too." He went back to my lips. Pulling my waist to his lap I was straddling him. The kiss was everything I wanted from him and more. He left my lips and smacked my ass.

"No other she wolf, could compare to you baby." I ruffled my noise in response.

"Too Cringy?" He asked I nodded my head giggling.

"Are you going to let me train now?" I asked

"Yes, but not with me probably my beta. He's the only other male I trust around you. However, he harms one hair on you i'm ripping him to pieces." I laughed with his words. Training is bound to leave some scar but I wouldn't tell him that.

"Alpha Kyo." I heard my father's voice. I soon moved off Kyo's lap with embarrassment on my face.

"Papa?" I put my arms out waiting for my father's embrace. He soon hugged me.

"What happened Anna?" My father asked.

"Rogues" Kyos fist hit my night stand.

"How many?" My father asked.

"Three and before you ask there all dead. I killed them."

"You killed three rogues!" Kyo seemed very surprise.

"Did you shift?" My father asked.

"Yes, and before you say anything my vision is back when I shift." I replied. Silence filled the room.

"Shocked?" Kyo asked.

"A bit yes. Has there been other attacks recently?" Father responded. 

"Actually yes. One rogue came into my house and tried to rape Anna. I caught him in time though and had my beta take care of the rest." Kyo explained.

"I see, is the rogue still alive we could us him to question for his leader." My father asked.

"No. I killed him." Kyo disappointment in himself filled the room.

"Why are you asking papa?" I couldn't help but question.

"There's something me and your mother need to tell you." My father voice sounded shaky. And in that moment, I felt scared.
