For some reason at lunch at lot of people wanted to sit with Chase and I.
"I heard there's a new girl at school she's from Australia." Says Chase.
" Yea, I wonder if she can help me with my accent." I say and we both laugh, but all of a sudden Chase and stopped and was staring at something or someone. I turn around and see this pretty blonde, I'm guessing she's the new girl everyone's talking about.
"Mate."
"Awwwwwwww Chase I am so happy for you." I say smiling.
"But she's a human."
"So she's your mate, invite her over to sit."
Rolling my eyes I turn around and wave her over to sit with us.
"Hi I'm Katherine." Awwwww she is shy.
" Hi I'm Amber, and this is my best friend Chase."
" Hey."
I kick him under the table.
" Move over so she can sit."
"Do you like it so far, here in California ? "
" Yea, but I wish my sister was here today."
"Oh you have a sister ?" Says Chase.
"Yea, she didn't feel well but she'll be here tomorrow."
" Is she as pretty as you ?" Katherine starts blushing deeply.
" I don't know. "
I just sit and watch as they continue to talk about everything.
I am happy for Chase and his mate, but I can't help but envy the love and connection they are sharing.
Just as I was thinking about my mate he walks in with someone that I'm guessing is his beta. They sit down with a bunch of people, and Chris turns around to see me staring I turn around blushing.
I can feel his eyes on me but I just ignore him and try to focus on what my two friends in front of me are talking about.
" So are you going Amber ?"
" Going where ? "
"To the pool party this Friday. "
" Yea, sure why not."
The rest of the lunch period we got to know Katherine.

All day I would peek glances at my mate. though I like the new makeover, my wolf and I don't appreciate all the lust stares that she's getting.
My beta walks in, just as I was about to leave and go to the playroom.
" Hey, hey."
"Wassup."
"Nothing much, you going to the pool party Friday ?"
" Sure."
" Is everything ok you seem off these past few days."
" If I tell you this you can't tell no one."
" Of course, your my bestfriend."
"I found my mate, and I told her that I'll make a decision if I want to accept her or not by the end of the week."
" Wow, who is she ?"
"Amber Riley."
"Dude she is smoking."
That makes my wolf upset that I growl , just so I don't rip his throat.
" Calm down, she's all yours and she's our luna."
" Yea I was thinking of accepting her."
" You have no choice what if your parents find out, your mom will kill you."
" I know. "
