*Again, for the nth time, I am very sorry for the extremely long delay. A lot of things came up, and I had lesser time to edit chapters to this story. I do hope you still continue to wait for my additional chapters, even if it takes me a long time to edit them. I will try my best to be quicker, and to update this story as much as I can. Enjoy! :)

“… Two months pass too slowly. My emotions have been unstable for such a time now. I haven’t seen Evan since our first encounter, and I can’t help but feel frustrated. Whenever I reminisce what happened on that day, my frustration melts, and I become wishful again…”

Caddie closed her journal as soon as she realized that she was ranting about Evan again. She sighed, and closed her eyes. She allowed her mind to drift somewhere out of the confines of the café. The addicting smell of coffee filled Caddie’s senses, as the conversations of people blurred into a perfect harmony.

Get yourself together Caddie. You have been a regular customer of this café, and you decide to destroy its image with your never-ending complaints.

After a few moments of reflection, Caddie opened her eyes. Though uncomfortable with where she was sittingthe table beside the one where she met EvanCaddie tried to smile, and took the entire atmosphere in.

Evan. Caddie thought sarcastically.

‘Their’ place wasn’t an ordinary space anymore. The café’s crew knew that whenever Caddie would visit, she would always sit on the table in the left corner, beside the window. So, when their manager informed them that the said table will be reserved for that day, they weren’t sure how to explain to Caddie.

Good thing Caddie didn’t react negatively to the ‘RESERVED’ sign on the table.

Well, that was what the staff thought.

Why is the table reserved? Caddie thought angrily. Her forehead creased as she continued to create possibilities in her mind. They faded as one possibility got her all fired up.

Could it be that Evan reserved the table?

The idea seemed too beautiful. Perfect. But, it will remain as an idea until Evan makes it a reality. Caddie shook her head, dismissing the near impossible thought from her consciousness.

Who are you fooling Caddie? You haven’t seen him for two months, and you expect him to come here out of nowhere? Stop lying to yourself.

Caddie’s logic and emotions battled as the intense desire of seeing Evan for the second time built up inside her. Every time Caddie entered the café, she had this optimism that Evan will be there, sitting alone on ‘their’ place. He could be drinking a tall cup of cappuccino, or probably eating a slice of pie.

Unfortunately, despite all of Caddie’s hopes and imagination, Evan never showed up.

Not even his shadow lightened Caddie's expectations. Maybe he secretly avoided her. Maybe he was too busy to remember. Maybe his encounter with Caddie was one of those moments he would love to forget.

Seeing the ‘RESERVED’ note on the table when she entered the café earlier pulled her spirits down further. She became a sport and sat on the table beside her favorite place. Not letting the setback bother her for the entire day, Caddie waited for one of the café’s crew to come near her. Some of the café’s staff memorized what Caddie ordered. Amelia, probably the friendliest lady servers, approached Caddie with her energetic personality.

“Good afternoon Miss Caddie. I…” Amelia paused. “I hope you don’t mind where you’re sitting Ma’am.” She continued carefully, paying attention to Caddie’s reaction.
