the two ponies sat in the train car, listening to the rhythmic sound of the wheels on the track. the elder of the two was none other than princess Twilight Sparkle, her crown glimmering in her mane. the younger, her foal, was Muffin Eclipse. 'mom?'. Twilight looked up at the sound of her foal's voice. 'yes, Muffin?' she replied, looking into her daughter's inquisitive, violet eyes. 'how do I get my cutie mark? do I have to do the same as you?' she asked. Twilight smiled. 'of course not, Muffin,' she said, ' you need to find your special talent. mine is magic, so I got my cutie mark using my magic better than I had ever before. who knows? your talent could even be baking.'. Muffin smiled. 'thanks mom. Im going to do my best to get my cutie mark as soon as I can!'. Twilight's smile grew wider as her heart swelled in pride at her foal's enthusiasm.
Applejack shifted from hoof to hoof in anticipation as the train finally pulled into the platform. 'they're here! they're here!' squealed her little filly, Pip Apple cantered around the station. Applejack chuckled. 'oh Pip.' she smiled,'you're such a silly filly'. Pip laughed then shreiked in excitement as the doors opened. a mass of other ponies got off before Applejack spotted Twilight's glimmering crown coming through the crowd.'Twilight!' she called,' over here!'. eventually, the crowd thinned and Twilight and Muffin reached them. 'hi, im Pip!' introduced Applejack's daughter. Twilight smiled.'hello Pip,' she said,' im Twilight Sparkle, but you can call me Twilight, and this is my daughter, Muffin Eclipse.'. Muffin looked up at them shyly. ' you can call me Muffin, if you want.'. Applejack grinned. 'Howdy, Muffin,' she said, 'welcome to your new home.'
