He stood in front of you, suitcase in one hand, a note in the other. You knew where this was going. There was commotion coming from hallways in the Avengers tower.

You just got out of the shower, towel still around you. You looked at the expression on his face. It had happened again, he did it again. He betrayed them. Again. You could tell by the way he tilted his head, slightly to the right. Sad overpowering his eyes.

"What happened? Why do you have that suitcase in your hand? What's on that note?" You nervously asked him. You moved yourself closer to him. He put his suitcase and the note down and lifted his hand to your cheek.

"I'm so sorry, my love. I truly am. The note is for you." He whispers while putting his head on yours. You knew what was going to happen now, and the thought of him leaving you made you lose your mind. You couldn't live without him. Whatever he had done, he was perfect to you.

Even though you had powerful believes about right and wrong, when it came to him, they all vanished.

Tears start slipping from you eyes. "Whatever it is, we can work it out, together. You can't leave me. If you wanna go then I'll be so lonely. I don't want you to leave, Loki."

There was a loud banging on the door and some screams telling him to open the door. They couldn't get in, you knew he was using his magic to keep the door shut.

"I'm sorry, baby. But I have to leave now. I promise we'll meet again. I love you" He said removing his head from yours. Seeing your desperate face made him tear up as well.

You started crying even harder now, "No no no no no. You can't go. You cannot do this to me."

Tears started slipping from his face. He was in pain as well. "I don't have a choice. I'm sorry I did this to us. We could've been so great."

Those words ripped your insides apart. You gripped onto him, hugging him as tight as you can. His arms formed a barrier around you, holding you so strong that you could barely breath.

Not more than a second later they loosened again. The noise outside your room only getting louder. He was using almost all his power to keep them outside. You knew he had to leave now if he didn't want to be caught. You took a little step back, lifted your head now facing him. You cupped his cheeks, kissing him gently.

That moment you realised that the most painful thing to do, is to kiss your only love goodbye.

"I love you, Loki. I love you so much." You stared to lose control of your emotions. Crying so hard you could barely get out of your words.

He nodded his head, "I love you, my sweet. Forever."

He took you in his arms again, kissing the top of your head. You held onto him so strongly, hoping he wouldn't go.

But not a second later the door to your room flew open and he was gone. You slowly fell to the ground, crying. "He's gone."
