Part 2 Chapter 16

Zara
"ALANA!" I yelled
Nothing.
"TERRENCE!"
Nothing.
"Shit! Shit!" I said hitting the door that won't open. Fuck! Now is not the time for this! I don't even know how we ended up in this car accident. All I remember is Alana and Terrence yelling at each other and then now. I moved my arm and instantly felt a sharp pain in my arm then a cramp in my stomach. Good! The baby is still moving so he's okay. I counted to ten and once it stopped I checked to see if Alana was breathing. I put my two fingers on the side of her throat and waited for a pulse. I barely felt her pulse but it's there. Thank God! I looked over and felt Terrence pulse and he was breathing just unconscious as well. I saw blood trickling down Alana's head and glass all in her lap. Terrence seemed fine except for the fact that he's unconscious but of course he has nothing wrong with him. I tried to move over to open the other door but a sharp pain shot through my stomach.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry. I didn't see y'all" some girls said
"Can you call 911 please!" I yelled at them. She ran to her car and I heard her talking to dispatch. I sat back and felt another contraction coming.
"Zara?" Terrence said weakly
"I'm okay. I'm glad you're awake now!" I said
"L-Lana?" He asked
"Alana is barely breathing or moving!"
Terrence turned to check her pulse then he got out the car and came around to my side of the car. I can tell he's a little disoriented because he was walking weird and wincing with every step. He pulled on my door until it finally opened.
"Terrence are you sure you're okay? You're walking weirdly."
Terrence smiled at me and then turned his attention back to Alana. I can see he was worried for her like I am. She's the only one still knocked out.
"She's bleeding from her head she must have hit it! Some idiot came from out of nowhere and hit us." Terrence said expecting her body.
"Yeah. That idiot is calling the paramedics now."
"And you? The baby?"
"He's kicking so he's fine but I definitely need the hospital right now."I said
Terrence reached in his pocket for his phone and stared texting away. Really! Right now!
"Who are you texting?" I asked
"Chandler. Alana is barely breathing he needs to know." Terrence said
Oh. Lol makes sense.
"This is all your fault!" I said to him
"My fault? If it wasn't for Alana yelling at me we would have been at the hospital right now!"
"You should have ignored her! Now look at her she's not moving! Something can seriously be wrong with her!!" i said pointing towards Alana. I looked at her and saw that she was now moving. I reached over the seat and saw her blinking. Oh thank god!
"Oooow! What the fuck happened?" She asked. She touched her head and saw the blood then looked around. She was confused about everything. I saw her eyes closing back but I slapped her. She stared at me and just glared at me for hitting her. Good I need her to focus on something instead of passing back out.
"Alana I need you to stay awake! Don't fall back to sleep!" I said to her. I heard the sirens from the ambulances and fire trucks.
"I'm fine! I just need to get out of this damn car!" Alana said struggling to move. I slapped her arm making her sit still.
"Stop mov- ooooooh shit!" I said bending over.
"Zara! Zara! Talk to me what's going on?" Terrence said rushing over to me.
"I need to push! I definitely need to push."
"DON'T!" Terrence and Alana yelled
I was going to say something but then I saw the paramedics rushing towards us. I sighed and leaned back with my head resting on the seat. I am so happy to see them so I can get the hell out of this car and safely to a hospital.
"Hi my name is Eric and I'm gonna be helping y'all tonight. How far along are you!" He asked looking at my stomach and checking my vitals.
"I'm in labor now! I need the hospital!" I said
"I am here to take you . I'm going to carefully put you on the gurney and these guys are going to take you to the hospital."
"I will also like to get out as well" Alana said
"Alana?" Eric said
"You know him?" I asked her.
"Oh. Hey firefighter guy. I just need y'all to open the door and I'll be fine." Alana said
"Alana. Stop moving I'm gonna rip these doors open now." He said to her.
The other paramedics pulled me away from them and I heard Alana saying she can walk but the guy was telling her no and carrying her towards an ambulance. So that right there told me that she was okay. I heard her yelling at them for them to stop touching her and I rolled my eyes and laughed again before they got me in the back.
"I'm her fiancé can I ride?"
"You are not my fiancé." I said frowning at him.
"Stop the bullshit Zara this is my baby!"
"Stop fucking your ex!" I spat I sat back and rubbed my belly ignoring the looks from everyone.
The paramedics looked at each other before letting him get in. He tried to grab my hand and I pulled away from him. I don't want him touching me or saying anything to me. I want him to go back to that bitch Yasmine. I was going to say something when I felt the biggest contraction of my life.
"Oooooh okay I definitely need to push now!"
"Let me check you."
She looked under the blanket and then shot her head back up.
"We are five minutes away from the hospital but this baby is coming now! Okay Zara I'm going to ask you to push the next contraction." The paramedic said
I saw her grabbing blankets and searching for a pair of scissors to cut the cord with. I was so nervous. The first time I had to get a C-section and i was drugged up for that. I was nervous but all of that went away when I felt the biggest contraction I've ever felt.
"Okay I definitely need to push right now!!!."
"Good. Now push!"
I hunched over and screamed to the top of my lungs from the pain while pushing. It felt like I was getting ripped from the inside and I want it to stop. After that one push I sat back feeling all my energy leave my body. Terrence rubbed my head and grabbed my hand. I felt another contraction and pushed again. This time I used all of my energy and pushed with all my might.
"Good! Good baby I can see him!! Oh my he's so handsome!" Terrence said letting go of my hand and reached out for our son.
I sat back and felt instant relief. I heard the screams of my son and instantly started crying. I was so happy but I'm not ready to be a single mom. I can't raise a four year old and a newborn by myself. Yeah i mean he's going to be there for me but not everyday. He won't be there at night. I looked over at Terrence who was smiling and rocking him.
"We still never agreed up on a name for him." I said
"I kinda liked Zerion also I like Kai."
"Ooooh Zerion was a good name but also Alana came up with it." I said smiling at him
"I know. And I hate to admit it but it's a nice name." Terrence said still looking at our son.
"I love you Terrence" i said
He smiled at me but didn't say anything. He didn't seem like he wanted to say it back. I turned my head away from him instantly regretting what I said and felt the ambulance stop. Finally! I wanted to get out of here so bad. They quickly rushed me and Zerion upstairs for check ups. The whole time my mind was on Terrence and how much I needed him to stay with me. From what the doctors told me I bruised my shoulder really bad and needed to wear a splint for a two weeks. Also just to not do any heavy lifting. Terrence had a mild concussion and sprained his ankle but other than that he was fine. Once we got settled into my recovery room I just stared at Zerion. He looks so much like Camille. Same beautiful dark eyes as Terrence but he has my dirty blonde hair color. He also has Terrence nose and the same little birth mark under his eye. He's a splitting image of Terrence.
"So Zerion is his first name now all we need is a middle." Terrence said breaking me out of my trance
"I like Alexander." I said
"Hmm. Zerion Alexander Anoa'i. Yeah I like it" he said walking up to me and getting in bed as well looking at Zerion. I smiled up at him and Terrence just half smiled at me but then looked back down. I got up to lay the baby down and turned to say something but quickly was interrupted.
"I'm gonna hurt you and your dumb partner in crime. Y'all make me wanna smoke crack" I heard my dad say from behind me.
"Shut the fuck up Chandler! It's not my fault the accident happened!" Alana said walking in behind him. The kids quickly followed and sat down. They all had their own iPads and wasn't paying anyone any attention. Alana had a few stitches in her face and cuts all over her legs and arms. I smiled at her and pulled her into a hug. I'm so glad that nothing bad happened to any of us. She winced and quickly pulled back from me.
"Zara my ribs! I'm fine girl damn let me breathe" Alana said pulling away from me. I just looked at her and saw that she was smiling at me too. She was also relieved that I was fine. She looked over my shoulder and saw Terrence sitting in the bed.
"Why are you laying there like you the one that pushed a baby out?" She asked with her hands on her hips.
"Alana don't start nothing." My dad said to her. My dad was holding the baby with one arm and used his other to pull her into him. He bent down and I could tell he was whispering things in her ear because she rolled her eyes. She mumbled "fine I won't say anything else" under her breath and grabbed the baby from him. She swayed back and forth with him in her arm and I saw the way my dad just watched her. I can see how much he loves her by the way he stands there smiling. After everything they been through if you didn't know them you would have thought they were always this happy. They went through hell but came back a full circle and promised each other nothing but happiness and that's what it's been. I sighed because Terrence and I would never be like that. We been through less than them and we hate each other.
"So what's his name?" Alana asked
"Zerion Alexander." I said
Alana smiled up at me and then looked back down at the baby. She kissed his cheeks and then hugged him.
"I knew y'all loved my suggestion. Heeey little baby I'm your godmama" she beamed
"Technically you're Grandma." I teased
She quickly stopped smiling at me and my dad started laughing. Camille finally got off her iPad and sat down next to Terrence. Alana gave the baby to Terence and quickly started snapping pictures of them two. I sat down next to them and Alana basically had a whole photo shoot with us. She made multiple videos and everything.
"Okay Lana that's enough" Terence said
"Shut up and just smile!" Alana teased. Terrence rolled his eyes at her and then smiled again. I laughed at them and posed for the pictures as well.
"Knock knock I'm here to see my grand baby"my mom said followed by Levi.
"How y'all feeling?" Levi asked
Oh shit! Chandler walked towards Alana and pulled her back towards him again. Alana smile instantly wiped away and now was a full blown scowl. You can see her eyes darken and I hoped that she didn't start anything. My dad smiled at Monica and nodded at Levi. Levi walked up to me and kissed the top of my head before reaching for the baby.
"Hey lil man. Oh you look just like your ugly ass daddy" Levi joked
"Yeah he does." My mom said
We all laughed and then it got quiet. My mom turned to look at Alana and my dad. I closed my eyes and silently prayed that she doesn't say anything to Alana.
"How are you feeling Alana? How's the baby?" She asked
My dad looked down at Alana and was still whispering to Alana. He was probably coaching her on what to say. Alana looked at my mom and had the fakest smile ever on her face.
"I'm doing just oh so lovely Monica and the baby is perfectly healthy and fine. Thank you so much for asking it means oh so everything to me" Alana said in an incredibly forced happy voice. Alana smile instantly went away and she rolled her eyes at my mom. I saw my dad slap her but then kissed the top of her head.
"Good girl." My dad whispered at her.
My dad shook his head but kept his grip on her and Levi stood there laughing. I couldn't help it but to laugh myself. Alana couldn't even truly fake it she wanted so bad to say something about their situation but didn't. My mom rolled her eyes at Alana and then turned her attention back to Zerion. Levi handed him off to her and sat down next to the twins.
"So how exactly did y'all end up in an accident?" Levi asked
"Well if Terrence kept his eyes on the road we wouldn't have gotten into this mess." Alana said
"Seriously? They ran a fucking red light it wasn't my fault. And if you wouldn't have slapped me up side my head we also wouldn't be here!" Terrence yelled
"Oh really so you're trying to say it's my fault? Well its not! Maybe if you would have kept your dick out of your ex we definitely wouldn't be here"
"Really Alana? Why are you always in some drama?" My mom said
"Fuck your bitch! Please don't get me started on you, you so damn miserable and still hope Chandler will leave me and go back to you so you had to bring some old shit up! Please don't start cause I can ruin your engagement with that man and you will really be alone!" Alana said getting in my mom's face. Alana fist was balled up and she was shaking. Alana was pissed off to the max and I was actually afraid that my mom would get seriously injured if she said one more thing to Alana. My dad quickly grabbed Alana and was rocking her back and forth calming her down and I think seeing Alana so angry shook my mom because she didn't say anything else. She sat down in the corner with the kids and watched over them. I looked over at Terrence and saw that he had a guilty look on his face.
"Can everyone leave please? I'll like a moment with Terrence alone please." I said
"I'm not leaving." Alana quickly said
My dad grabbed her hair making her walk towards the door.
"You have said enough get to walking woman!"
"Ow ow ow Chandler I am injured"
"Move!" My dad said smacking her butt. I heard her kids laughing at them and I shook my head at them. Once everyone but Camille was out I looked over at Zerion then at Terrence. I shyly smiled at him as he reached out for me. I walked up to him and laid my head on his shoulders.
"I can't do this without you." I admitted
"I know."
"I really need you."
"I know." Terrence said again "I'm so sorry Zara. What happened between me and Yasmine was so quick and I kept on going. I promise that I will forever make it up to you"
"I don't know Terrence you hurt me so much and seeing you with her made me realize that I don't mean shit to you."
"You mean everything to me! I do have love with her but I am in love with you. I promise you that I am, please give me one more chance." Terrence said
He turned me to look at him then grabbed my face to kiss him.
"Ewww mommy don't kiss my daddy" Camille said
She is such a daddy's girl. We laughed at her and then went back to kissing.
"I know you didn't take him back" i heard Alana say
"Yes she did. You got a problem with that? I told her that I would do right by my family"
"And you bought that?"
"Alana come on. How many times have you taken back my dad?"
Terrence cocked his eyebrow at her and I had my arms folded looking at her. She threw up her middle finger at me.
"Well since the happy couple is back together. I would like to let y'all know Yasmine is here and she's demanding to see you Terrence" Alana said
"Tell her she can come up here. I need to talk to her once and for all Anyways." I said
"With the help of me of course." Alana said
I rolled my eyes at her because yes I need her by my side. Time to nip this shit in the bud. If I want to marry Terrence I need this bitch as far away as possible.
