It had been a week since Beatrix was locked up, seven long excruciating days, one hundred and sixty eight hours of constant pain as Elmira continued to struggle to process the events of that night. The blonde girl hadn't left her bed since Riven placed her there, she hadn't ate nor drank a single thing. Her mind was numb, her body ached from the excessive crying and yet she refused to move. She hadn't actively thought about anything since her powers took over her mind, she'd heard Riven and Dane's voices throughout the week but she didn't bother to reply let alone look at them.

Elmira Chambers had become a living corpse wasting away in her suite as the torturous sound of her best friend's screams roamed the halls on a nightly basis, all she had the energy to do was sob - sob for the families of those she had murdered, sob for her best friend's torture but most prevalent of all - she sobbed for the loss of her control. Deep down inside she knew if she moved from her suite the guards would lock her up alongside her best friend and torture her for what she had done to their comrades and yet she was in such a depressive state that that simple fact was beginning to sound like a smart idea, at least she'd die alongside her best friend. Right?

Taking one exhaustive breath in Elmira rolled herself to the side of her bed, she needed to move, she needed to figure out a way to save Beatrix and she knew she couldn't do that whilst she lay motionless in her suite. Carrying her heavy body towards the bathroom the blonde girl stood underneath the freezing cold water, letting it wash away her tears as she tried to wake herself up - she remembered a conversation she had with her best friend once about how ice cold showers were the only thing that got her ready for the day but unfortunately for Elmira she was an ice fairy who had felt nothing but the cold for the last week so that theory went out the window.

Sighing she stepped out of the water, dried her body and threw her messy, knotted hair into a high ponytail ensuring she wouldn't have to deal with it. Brushing her teeth exhausted her but she knew she needed to move her body if she had any chance of breaking her best friend out of the prison she currently occupied. For the first time since the blonde moved to Alfea she didn't care what she looked like, her face was bare, her hair messy, her now deep-blue eyes were puffy and her body looked shapeless as she donned a simple black sports top and white sweatpants she was sure belonged to Riven at some point.

Standing in front of the long mirror in her wardrobe Elmira was shocked by her appearance, her bones were protruding out of her skin as she glanced over her body taking in the rapid weight-loss she had endured the last week. Her out-of-control powers seemed to have left a permanent effect on her appearance - her once blonde hair was now white as snow, her light colour-changing eyes held a permanent deep blue residence it almost terrified her to see. Shaking her head slightly the blonde made her way towards the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea, she wasn't ready to eat anything but she hoped a warm drink would awaken her senses even more as she tried to piece her brain together.
