Chapter 8: Magnificent

  It was a long drive but not a boring one tho, Leo was such a clown, he had a good sense of humor and Anna loved it. Anna talked her best friend Alexia, and her abilities. Leo was shocked to hear that Alexia was good in fighting, he actually thought was she did earlier today was just a stunt.

    Alexia parents made her learn karate so she could defend herself in times of troubles. Leo couldn't help it but imagine if she actually tried to beat him earlier today,  it would have been a funny one tho. The two talked about their place of work and their clumsy colleagues. Leo's dad owned a famous company in America and Anna was shocked to hear he was now the owner, he just inherited it from his dad. "Now I see where his source of income was coming from" she said inwardly.
       Leo was from a rich home and his status didn't define his character he was so jovial and warm-hearted. His laughter was such a turn on to Anna, "Anna behave!" She said to herself inwardly, she actually felt comfortable with him.
     "We are finally here" Leo said as he immediately parked at the parking lot then came down and opened the door for her to step down with his hand facing her, so she held his hand and came down.
      Anna couldn't help but admire this prince charming in front of her. Leo wore a white T-shirt and a black suit that matched with his pants, that showcased his beautiful torso, his shoes looked so flashy with his tie that matched with his hazel eyes and Damn! This scent of citrus and raspberries, Damn! He was so handsome.
      "Hey!" Leo cut her off her thoughts, she had been staring at him for a while now, like she was lost in thought. "Sorry" she said.
   "No worries, let's get into the ball room" Leo replied. Leo gave her the bow arm signifying for her to hold his arm, she couldn't decline this polite gesture, so she held his arm and they walked towards the door.
     Anna looked up that the magnificent building in front of her, it looked really big and beautiful than what she usually see in pictures, Leo saw as she admire the building, he just gave a bright smile at her. They both went inside the ball room Woah! The hall was filled with huge and beautiful ornamented chandeliers and with the beautiful stage where the instrumentalist stayed was such a beauty to behold. After the admiration of the hall he then took her to get a mask cos it was obviously a masked ball.
    After wearing the mask, Leo turned to her and asked  "Can I have this dance with you milady"  gesturing out his hand, Anna simply has to be of good conduct and it was a ball so she obviously had to dance with him, she took a slowly they were now in the dance floor looking royalty. Anna wearing red the color of attraction, really made everyone's eyes be on her, thanks to her ballet teacher in high school she didn't flop the dancing.
