This chapter is set 8 years before the events in the series. And in my au, Artemis has a little sister named Avery who is 6 years younger than him.

Description of Avery:

The beginning

•Artemis is picking flowers for his parents•

==Artemes POV==

A: I wonder what flower papa would like.

*Picks a red and white flower*

B: Arti its time to head home!!!

*runs over to Bryan*

•its been a few hours, Bryan is reading a book. Artemis is drawing, and Avery is asleep.•

A: When will dad get home?

~ I hope he's home soon I wanna show him my drawing~

*inpu walked into the doorway*

A: DAD!!!

I: hey Arti

*hugs inpu*

I: How are you pup

*smile up at inpu*

•Its been a few days and Artemis has turned 8 years old•

==Bryan POV==

*looks at Artemis and Avery playing a game*

*looks at inpu who is looking at the kids uneasily*

B: Inpu? Are you ok?

*inpu looks back at him* I: yeah im fine, I am just a bit worried.

B:why?!?

I start feeling a great amount of worry

I: I don't know I just has this feeling like something is about to happen

I freeze

B: I feel it too

B: Inpu I'm scared, what if something happens to the kids?

*inpu look at him* I: don't worry if anything happens we'll protect them.

Somehow that calms me down

==Artemis POV==

*looks up at parents*
~ I wonder what they are talking about~

*goes back to playing with his two year old sister*

•an hour later inpu and Bryan head inside for a few minutes•

*hears window crash*

~ where is papa and dad, what was that noise~

A feeling of fear swells in his chest

*grabs Avery and runs inside*

• A strange figure is fighting with Bryan and inpu •

B: Artemis grab your sister and run, if you can find xylo and magness

==Bryan POV==

*still fighting the figure*

~what will we do with the kids I don't want them in this war

+side note this person is in a war against the demi gods, the war just had not get to them yet+

*inpu and Bryan make eye-contact knowing what each other was thinking*

We don't want our kids in this war, which made this decision so hard

*inpu nods his head*

*Tells Artemis a second time, to run*

Tears gather in his eyes, he didn't want to send away his children but he had to

== Artemis POV==

He had been running for a few hours and finally found them

*looks up at magnus with tear filled eyes*

M: Arti what's wrong?

*Explains*

X: I think it would be best if we took them to the human world

*magnus nods*

• they have made it to the human world and Artemis has hid his jackal and wing features and and has covered Averys up•

MR: hi little ones are you okay?

Nervous feeling start to creep up

A: our parents sent us here so we could be safe

MR: well then come here we will get you situated
