Chapter 3

~ Kyo's Dream~

I examined my surroundings. Everything was white, just like snow. I looked down and saw as if myself, was floating or something.

Suddenly two unfamiliar faces floated towards me.

One was a female and the other one beside her was a male.

"My oh my! Our Kyo is already so grown up! Look at her honey!" Said the female with a smile on her face. I looked over to the man beside her and he was also smiling and nodding at the same time.

"I see your settling in with your powers aren't you?" The male said.

"What do you mean?" I spoke with a confused face.

"Talk to your grandfather" They responded.

After that, they started to disappear.

"Wait!" I called as I reached for them, and when I did, my hand went through.

My eyes widened and retrieved my hand back within a second.

I looked back at them but all that I saw was white. There was no one else here, except me.

"Hello?!" I screamed as I looked for the couple. But there was nothing.

I slumped down on the ground and looked down with a sad face.

I shut my eyes as hard as I can.

Kyo POV

I bolted up with wide eyes and sweat beads on my forehead. With heavy breathing, I looked around the room. I was sitting on my bed. My scared expression turned into a confused one. I got out of bed and stood up.

Then I remembered the dream.

"Talk to Grandfather" I reminded myself as I sighed. I didn't bother to eat and walked straight to Sensei's room.

I stood there not knowing what to do. I knocked on the door a couple times, then it opened.

"Grandfather, I need to ask you a question" I explained.

"What is the question you may ask, my child?" Master Yoshiro questioned.

"Why do I have powers?" I suddenly blurted out.

His little eyes turned into big ones, and unexpectedly stood up.

"Call in Myungsoo." He demanded with a worried face. I was confused but followed my orders.

After a while me and Myungsoo walked back to Sensei's room. We saw Sensei sitting and looking down while his hands were on his face.

"Whats wrong Grandfather" I spoke with a worried tone as we walked in.

"Park Aerri, you aren't safe here no more." Sensei announced when he faced us with tears in his eyes.

I just looked at my Grandfather with eyes sized like an owl's. I glanced at Myungsoo, he had the same expression as me. I turned back to my Sensei.

"W-Why?" I stuttered.

"You've discovered your powers earlier than I thought. They are searching for you. You must pack up my child, then you guys will leave at sunrise to go to Seoul" Yoshiro advised.

"Am I going alone?" I asked.

"In a million years you will. You have your best buddy here to protect you" He walked and stood beside Myungsoo and patted his shoulder. My Grandfather is always acting like my age. You know why? Its cause I haven't have friends in years. But when Myungsoo came, my life changed completely. I guess my Grandfather still likes the styles I taught him.

"Pack up my children. Myungsoo here was a city boy, so he will show the ways." Sensei said and Myungsoo just nodded at me.

Together we bowed at our Grandfather and left. After a few minutes of walking on the halls, looking for our rooms. We finally bid goodbyes and started filling our backpacks up.

I took my belt filled with all sorts of weapons. I put the weapons all in my backpack like: Guns, swords, bow, arrow and last bus not least, a little mini knife/rueful axe. I took outfits of clothes just in case.

I remembered what Sensei said about leaving at sunrise. I thinked what would be in the nature world. After a few minutes of thinking my mind shutted down.
