She was walking into her class. Her head was clouded with millions of thoughts. Today, she had decided to propose him. She didn't even had imagined that she'll fall for him. Its was unexpected. A month ago he had proposed her, but as a girl who is not interested in love, she respectfully, without hurting him, she rejected. As a best friend, he understood her. He knows very well that she is not interested in love. That day onwards, he tried to be normal as how they were when they were best friends even if it was hurting him that he couldn't make her his. But she noticed a bit change in him after that rejection incident. She want that old him. She want that old Ryan, who always annoys her, who always teases her, who always flirt other girls with her, who always hurt her by pinching her, but he stopped all of this.

Now, he is acting like he is just an ordinary friend. The old Ryan was a close friend, who knows every secret of her. Who was always like a big brother for her.

It hurts her. She always tell him that "Ryan, please... I want that old you. I told you that I don't like to be into relationship. Please.. Ewww its shameful that our badboy is sad. I can't even imagine being in a relationship. It'll be weird if we both weirdos become couples haha. "I told you Xena, I'm okay. I'm normal. I don't hate you for that. I understood you very well. I'm pretty normal right?. And I'm not a weirdo, I'm a badboy.. Badboy Ryan.. " By saying this he tries to hide his feelings. He tries to make her laugh. But as a girl who knows him more than others do, she realises that he is hurt.

Today, she is gonna propose him. She is not sure that he'll accept her. But a little hope. She went inside the classroom. There she saw him, sitting there waiting for her. When he saw her, he smiled at her. She smiled at him back and went to their seat. As she sat near him, Ryan asked her "Hey Xena........ Today is maths test. Had you prepared for it?. I know you did, so as a best friend I need a help from you". Then he pouted. Xena already knew what is he gonna ask.

"No way... You have to study by your own" she said and flicked his head. He slapped her face lightly to annoy her and the war begins. Xena has no idea where/ when/ How will she propose him. Now, its physics period, teacher is absent. So she decided to give him a hint about the proposal. She started by flicking him. He was completely annoyed by this and asked her why?. She said nothing. "Ryan, if I propose you, will you accept me?" She asked acting cool. "If you propose me I won't accept you, bad girl" said Ryan. "I'm a good boy. I won't fall for you" by saying this Ryan grabbed her spectacles and put it on, and started acting like he is studying by reading a book. Xena knew that he was just acting. So she just laughed it off.

"Ryan..." Xena called him, as they both were walking through that way in which Ryan proposed her. The sky was a bit dark. This made both of them remember that proposal day. The weather was exactly same as that day. Xena was nervous. She was sweating. No one was there. Only them.  "What Xena?" He asked. "Ryan.." Xena again called him. "What Xena?. You have anything to tell me?". But she remained quiet.

"Xena, you remember that day when I proposed you?. This cloudy day reminds me about that day. That was an awkward day, right?" Then he started laughing. He was actually crying inside, but he laughed outside to make her think that he is fine. She smiled at him. Then both of them remained silent. Both of them were communicating through silence.

Ryan's POV

I wish she had accepted me. But unfortunately she didn't. I always used to think that I'm perfect until I proposed her. She had always ranked a special position in my heart till the day we became friends. But it all started in a fight. Actually, I was her bully till that day we became friends. From that day, she had always be by my side. She was different from other girls I had met in my whole life. It is hilarious now, to think that I always used to bully her. If she had proposed me, No I must had intertwined my hands with her and walked to our home. But I am unlucky. I think a boy like me don't deserve her. I always try to keep her out of my mind, but I couldn't. She'll get a man who is far better than me. But dear Xena, Thanks for the beautiful memory that you gave me. The highschool is gonna end. Its better for me to not to take this seriously. In the end, everything and everyone will remain just as an unforgettable memory. But I already took this seriously. I let out a sigh. But dear Xena, I will always love you with all my heart. Nobody can replace you in this Ryan's heart. Xena, You never knew the craziness I have on you. The craziness for your love. But you didn't understood my love for you.
