I'm falling... I don't remember who I am, where I am, or why I'm here.

All I know is I'm falling.

I feel the wind rushing through my long, dark hair, making it fly into the air and tangle in the process.

The wind is so sharp, it threatens to cut me in two. All I see is a blue atmosphere surrounding me, no clouds, no anything, just a blank, blue sky.

Suddenly, I landed hard on my back on a flat, solid surface. The second I hit the ground, every breath of air was knocked from my lungs, leaving me struggling to breathe.

I felt a sharp, excruciating pain down my back which then flooded throughout my whole body. I hit my head on the ground, making me extremely dizzy. The injuries didn't seem too bad, considering how far I felt I'd fallen.

I sat up a bit to where my back, which was now filled with pain, was off the ground.

I groaned as I sat up and my vision slowly adjusted. The first thing I could see was the ground. I realized something that was pretty hard to believe... the ground was blue.

It was almost the same shade of blue as the sky I'd just plummeted from. I looked up from the ground, hoping I was just too dizzy to see correctly.

I looked around me. I saw a neighborhood with rows of houses lined through the land. Cars sat on the road close to the houses, all of them still and unmoving.

Beautiful flowers were accompanied by lushious grass and leafy bushes. It looked like any regular neighborhood, except for one thing... it was all blue.

Everything was blue, from the road that is supposed to be dark black, to the normally colorful flowers and plants. Everything was the same color, same shade, and there seemed to be no other living things here besides me.

I stood up, and almost crashed into the ground again due to the disorienting dizziness. I looked down at the blue ground and noticed something...

I kneeled back down to the ground and saw a folded piece of notebook paper. When I opened the paper there were words on it that were written in blue ink, the same color as everything else here.

The words fit almost perfectly on the lines. The writing was clean and neat but, I still had trouble reading it because I was still pretty dizzy and light headed.

The words said
"Welcome to...
The World of Colors."

It said "Welcome to..." in the top left corner then, the rest skipped down to the middle of the paper.

I put the note in the front pocket of my jeans. Judging from the note, I'm guessing this place I fell into is called The World of Colors. Now I know what this place is called, if only I could find out how to get out.

I wondered how I could remember which colors these things are supposed to be but, I don't even remember my own name.
