October 1st The West Reeve School 9:30
Jon was sitting in English bored out of his mind because this lesson was all about journalism and journalistic writing, which he already knew inside out the n account of both his parents being top journalists.
"Mr.Kent is my class boring you" Mr.Anderson asked
"What, no it's not" Jon replied
"Then answer my question" Mr.Anderson asked
Before Jon made a show of himself there was a knock on the door
"Sorry for the interruption Mr.Anderson but Dr.Medley would like to see Jonathan Kent" Ms.Davis said
"Saved by the bell Mr.Kent, I'll make sure to pass on the homework" Mr.Anderson said
Jon got up from his seat and packed his stuff and followed Ms.Davis all the way to Dr.Medley's office where he took a seat and waited for her
"Sorry to keep you waiting Jon, do you know why I called you here" Dr.Medley asked
"No, not a clue in the world" Jon replied
"Jon you know, you are one of our best student and most proactive students, but I'm going to have to ask you to step down from the Yearbook Committee and Dance Committee because of your grades in Maths, recently you've been dropping. You haven't failed yet but your on the course and I would advise a tutor" Dr.Medley said
"Wait can I not get a tutor and continue with those things I swear I'll get my grade up" Jon said
"Okay we have our October tests in two weeks, if after those your Math grade is still low no more committees" Dr.Medley said
"Thank you" Jon replied
"Now as for a tutor we have quiet a few Mathematically gifted students and I would only advise the best, do you know Damian Wayne" Dr.Medley asked
"Yeah, we're friends and his sister is one of my best" Jon replied
"That's good, him and his sister are our two highest achievers so maybe they will both help" Dr.Medley said
"Both of them" Jon said imagining how over bearing they can both be
"Ms.Davis send them in" Dr.Medley said into a comm system
Damian and Helena were then shown through the door and Damian was shocked to see Jon sitting in there
"Kent, you never mentioned having trouble with maths" Damian said
"I didn't think I needed to" Jon laughed
"Well I now see you all know each other, will either or both of you be willing to help Jon here with his grades, otherwise he's off Yearbook and Dance planning" Dr.Medley said
"I'll do it, and I won't take it easy" Damian replied
"I'll help if needed" Helena said
"Great, now you may all return to class except you Mr.Wayne" Dr.Medley said
Jon and Helena left the room while Damian took a seat opposite Dr.Medley
"Dr.Medley if this is about my antisocial behaviour towards people in the school I do apologise and I promise I'm working on it" Damian said
"It's not but I have seen an improvement since our last conversation about it. It's about something similar though. You have one of the if not the highest GPA's in the school but we need you to get more involved" Dr.Medley said
"Do I have to, is it necessary" Damian asked
"Yes, I'm making it. You can join any of the sports teams, the dance committee, yearbook committee or the orchestra or any of the clubs or extracurriculars" Dr.Medley said
