Chapter One

Saturday; 8:12 AM

"Good morning, my love." I shook Jungkook lightly, making him wake up slowly. 

Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Kim Minji. I'm 22 years old, and my boyfriend is Jeon Jungkook. We've been dating for about 1 year, 2 years in a few weeks. Jungkook works as a business man, and I sell paintings. I'm a really good artist, I've made about 5,000 dollars so far. I'm using the money to pay bills, and maybe if I have some extra, I could go on a vacation with Jungkook. Today is just a regular day. Me and Jungkook are going to this party which starts at 10:40 in the morning, and doesn't end until 7:30 PM. 

Jungkook groaned. "Five more minutes.." he turned to the other side of the bed, facing me.

"Come on sweetie, remember we have that party today." I kissed him on the forehead, stroking his hair. He looked super cute while sleeping. Jungkook finally got up from bed, facing me and giving me my morning kiss. I opened the blinds on the window, making the room a little brighter. 

I had already gotten ready for the day. Jungkook walked slowly to the bathroom to brush his teeth. I went to the kitchen to make him some avocado toast and a cup of banana milk for breakfast. I put the plate and cup in front of his seat on the dining table, the place where he always sits. 

Jungkook walked out of the bathroom, and sat down at his seat. "Thank you baby." 

"Your welcome!" I smiled, kissed his cheek and went back to the kitchen to make myself some cereal. I sat down next to Jungkook and began eating.

9:55 AM

After we both finished eating and took showers, I took Jungkook's plate and mine to the sink in the kitchen. Me and Jungkook went back to our bedroom to pick out some clothes to wear for the party.

I wore a red dress with part of the dress split on the bottom, while Jungkook wore a black suit, with a light blue tie. We walked out of the house, and into Jungkook's car and went to the gathering.

10:35 AM

We got to the gathering, and it was beautiful. There were LED lights everywhere, and people started coming inside. We walked inside, and saw our friend, Jimin. 

"Jimin-ah!" Jungkook hugged Jimin. 

"Hyung! It's nice to see you again." Jimin smiled. "Hey Minji!" I waved, and hugged him. 

"How are you guys doing?" Jimin asked. 

"Nothing much, making money." Jungkook answered.

"Hey, I'll be back, there is a bar area if you get thirsty and a food court of you get hungry." Jimin said, walking past us and greeting some other people. Me and Jungkook held hands, and walked to a table.

"Wait is that you!?" Jungkook gasped, and immediately let go of my hand. I looked at the direction of Jungkook and where he was going, I decided to follow him. 

"Jungkookie! It's nice to see you again, it's been years!" some girl hugged Jungkook tightly. 

I only call him Jungkookie.

"Aera, I'm so happy to see you again! How have you been?" Jungkook asked. 

"Nothing much, how about you?" Aera answered.

"Same here, just working." Jungkook shrugged. I tried holding Jungkook's hand, but he didn't hold it back. I looked at him confused, and a bit angry. Jungkook couldn't keep his eyes off of that woman, and acted like I didn't even existed. I sighed deeply, and just stood there like an idiot. 

I saw Jungkook and Aera sitting next to each other at a table, so I decided to sit next to Jungkook. 

"Hey Jungkook! Who's this?" I looked at him, fake smiling. 

"Oh, this is Aera, my friend." he smiled. We both shook hands, and I squeezed her hand a bit tight.

"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Minji. Jungkook's girlfriend." I smiled, but then replaced it with a serious one. I let go of her hand, still keeping my serious look. 

"Alright everyone!" Jimin yelled through the microphone on stage. The guests started walking over to the stage, and I saw Jungkook and Aera walk together towards the stage, and I just sat at the table, watching them. I'm an introvert and very emotional, those are the only things I hate about myself. Music started playing, and everyone started dancing. I took a sip of my champagne, not taking my eyes off Jungkook and Aera. I sighed deeply and looked the other way to see a beautiful view of Seoul.

-TIME SKIP- 

6:45 PM

The party was really fun, we played some games, ate some food, it was great. But all the time that Jungkook spent with me was about 10 minutes, then went back to Aera for the rest of the party.

The event was coming to a close, and people started leaving. Jungkook walked up tome, grabbing his belongings to leave. 

"Hon, come on, lets go home." Jungkook said, holding out his hand. I grabbed his hand and we walked out of the party. We were about to walk to the car, when Aera ran to Jungkook. 

"It was nice seeing you again, Jungkook. Let's keep in touch." she said, smiling. He immediately let go of my hand and hugged Aera tightly. Not gonna lie, I felt like a third wheel. 

"It was a pleasure to meet you!" Aera smiled. I put on a fake smile, and hugged her. 

Damn, she smelled good. 

Me and Jungkook walked to the car, and I quickly put on perfume that smelled like vanilla. The scent Jungkook likes. I got in the car, and buckled my seatbelt on. I twiddled my thumbs as Jungkook started up the car. 

"Is something wrong?" Jungkook asked.

"Oh! N-No, nothing's wrong." I said, smiling.

But inside, everything was wrong.
