As we sat on the bench looking at the leaves falling from the trees...I picked up a leaf and I gave it to my best friend, he took it from my hand and examined the leaf....
"Autumn is the best season"he told me!
"Why"I replied
"You'll see"he said
"You promise you'll never forget me even if you get super famous!"I said looking up to him.
"I promise"He looked down at me "You know I will never forget you"

1 week later...
I miss him he is gone no he's not dead he left to audition for a new band in China ,I know,I know I live in China its just that he went far away from me.I decided to text him since we didn't know if he made it in yet.Half of me wants him to make it in but half of me doesn't and I wish I didn't feel like this because I want to be happy for him I really do but I can't bring myself to.

Shuyang Ge came home two days later.I was super happy!
"Aira I made it!"As he gave me a warm hug.
"Really?"I said.
"Aww do you not want me to go"He stared at me while pouting.
"Of course I want you to go it's always been your dream"But inside I wish he wouldn't go.
"So when are you going back there?"I asked hopefully it wasn't soon.
"In a few days"Shuyang looked down.
"WHAT?!?!?"I screeched "B-but no Shuyang Ge you can't leave me"
"Aira I promise I will come back"He replied
"Pinky Promise"I looked at him
"Pinky Promise"He smiled
After that my parents and his parents all went to dinner without us because it was adult stuff.
I was happy because I got to spend more time with him but my mum called a neighbour his name was Hanyu Ge,he was a neighbour I didn't really know but Shuyang Ge said he saw him at the Auditions.
When Hanyu Ge came over we played some board games and UNO which is my favourite game.I won two games of UNO.It was getting late so I went to bed they stayed up talking about boy stuff.Boring I know right!
I woke up at the middle of the night and decided to get some water when I over heard someone.
"Hanyu Ge I can't bring myself to tell her I'm leaving tomorrow morning, I told her I was leaving in a few days"Shuyang Ge whispered.
"Well Shuyang if she really was your best friend you would have told her the truth"He replied
"Well I don't want to hurt her, she has been my best friend for 10 years or since she was born"Shuyang exclaimed "She doesn't want me to leave and half of me doesn't want to leave either but it's been my dream"
I got light headed what did he mean he was leaving tomorrow morning he couldn't even bring himself to say a proper goodbye to me.
I went back to sleep.I also set a alarm for 4:00am so that I could say bye because I knew he wouldn't wake me up to say goodbye.
My alarm went off and I realised why I was getting up.I changed into something warm and put on my coat,hat and my gloves.
I went outside hopefully not waking anyone up and I unlocked the door.I sat patiently outside their door and I knew they were still here because their car was still parked beside my parents car.Time passed by it was 5:00am and their door unlocked.I looked up and it was Shuyang Ge.
"Aira what are you doing here you are going to get a cold"He brought me inside.
I noticed he was changed out of his pyjamas and he was wearing his coat I knew he was leaving today.
"Aira what are you doing here?"His mom asked
"Oh I was waiting for Shuyang Ge!"I looked at her!
"Oh why were you waiting?"Shuyang asked trying to sound dumb.
"Oh I thought you told Hanyu Ge that you were leaving today"I looked at him.
The tension was really building up so his mum changed the subject.
"Since you are here do you want some hot chocolate?"She asked.
"Yes please"I smiled
"Shuyang can you make it please?"She told him
He went to grab a cup and made the hot chocolate.I was just quiet and stared at the wall maybe I shouldn't have come.
Someone tapped my shoulder and sat down.
He handed me the hot chocolate,it looked delicious it had whipped cream and marshmallows my favourite.
I took a small drink of the hot chocolate,I was about to take a big drink of it until Shuyang Ge started speaking.
"So how did you find out?"Shuyang looked down.
"That's not the question here Shuyang Ge,it's why didn't you tell me"I told him,I took another drink of the hot chocolate.
"I just couldn't bring myself to tell you,I didn't want to hurt you"He said while having a drink of his hot chocolate.
"Shuyang Ge it hurts me more to know that I couldn't say a proper goodbye to you if I didn't wake up"I said to him
"I'm sorry Aira"He looked at me.
"Shuyang it's time to go now we have a long drive ahead"His mom called him from the kitchen.I stood up and brought my empty cup to his mom.
"Thank You"I said to her "Bye Shuyang Ge"
I walked towards the door.
"Bye Aira"His mom said.It angered me that he didn't even say goodbye.Was it my fault?I continued to walk back to my house slowly opening my door.
"Aira Yah what are you doing up this early"My mom looked at me confused.
"Nothing"I said while walking up the stairs.I opened the door to my room I then locked my door and flopped onto my bed.I tried to go back to sleep since it was still early.But question flooded my mind.Was it my fault he didn't want to say goodbye?Was it true what Hanyu Ge said that if he was really my best friend he would tell me?
"Aira"someone knocked on my door,was it already morning."Aira just open the door"
I got up to open the door to face Shuyang Ge,I just closed the door not wanting to speak to him.
"Please Aira"He asked"Just open the door"
I went to go open it again and then I just sat on my bed.
"I already said goodbye and don't you have to go"I was annoyed and I think you could hear it through my voice.
"That wasn't a proper goodbye Aira"He said to me.
"But you can't go,please don't go"I broke down and started to whine"You can't leave me Shuyang"
I gave him the biggest hug knowing that it may be the last one.
"Aira you know I will come back"He told me
"And what if you don't?"I asked him.
