The Sunflower

Everyday Alaina would go to a field to pick flowers for her mother so she could put it as decor in their home. One day, Alaina went to the field on a sunday morning, and noticed a sunflower in the middle of the field that was starting to die. She decided to water the plant everyday and take care of it. One day Alaina came home late, her mother asked where she'd have been, Alaina said "I found a sunflower in the middle of the field, so Im going everyday to look after it and watering it." "Oh ok, sweetie, be careful whenever you go there, I heard kids go missing whenever they go there." Her mother said. "Oh dont worry ma, its probably just something, somebody made up, to scare children." Alaina said mocking her. The next day Alaina went to go water the sunflower. She stayed with it and decided to take a photo with it. When she came back home, she showed her mother the photo. "Look mom!" Alaina said walking through the door. "I took this photo with the sunflower i found that i told you." Alaina told her mother. "Oh thats nice!" Her mother said. "Make sure to be careful when you go there, ok?" She said once again. "Yes mom i know! And Im old enough to take care of myself." Alaina told her mother. A few weeks passed by and Alaina took another photo. She showed it to her mother. When Alaina went to her room. Her mother noticed that the sunflower had eyes in the middle of it. She told Alaina, but she didnt listen. The next day Alaina went to go to the sunflower again, she noticed something weird in the black part of it. She went to go check it out. Its been a few hours, its noon and her mother is panicking. Alaina still hasnt come back from the field. She decided to call the police and report her missing. The cops tried searching for her. But she was never found. And nobody knows if it was the sunflower..
