The bell rang so the students started leaving their classes to go to their next lesson. As Emily made her way to the locker rooms, she frowned at a sight. Olivia was smiling and talking to Tyler, her ex boyfriend. He kissed her cheek and walked away. Emily clenched her jaw.
-Hey Emily!, greeted Anne.
-Oh, hi Anne., replied the brunette.
-Everything okay? You look mad., frowned the blonde girl worried.
-All good. Do you have p.e. with us?, wondered Emily facing Anne and ignoring Olivia who was walking up to them.
-Yes, with Mr. Marin., nodded Anne.
-Hello stranger., joked Olivia as she had finally caught up with them.
-Hi., smiled Anne.
-Hi., mumbled Emily with no sign of emotion.
-I see you're still grumpy., noted the older girl.
-I see you're still in love with your ex., replied the brunette.
-What? What are you talking about?, frowned Olivia.
-I saw you guys at his locker, you were being very "friendly"., explained Emily coldly.
-He just said goodbye. I mean, yeah he asked to get back together but I said no., frowned the older brunette.
-I don't care., shrugged Emily.
-You clearly don't., said Olivia sarcastically.
-What's that supposed to mean?, asked the younger girl raising her eyebrow.
-Why are you constantly so angry? Isn't it tiring?, asked the other brunette.
-She wasn't angry earlier in class., added Anne.
-Oh so you're suggesting that I'm the cause of her anger?, asked Olivia.
-I did not say tha-, tried Anne.
-No, no. All good. I will leave you two alone, so I don't ruin anyone's mood. This way you can have a new best friend who will understand you shitty personality., said the older girl coldly.
-Olivia!, tried Anne as the brunette walked away.
-Let her., sighed Emily.
-Why did she react that way?, frowned Anne, not understanding.
-I don't know. I'm probably right about the fact that she still likes her ex and that made her mad., shrugged the brunette.
-Hm. Weird., said the blonde girl.
-Whatever, let's go before Mr. Marin makes us run around the school for being late., replied Emily as she opened the door to the girls' locker room for Anne to walk in.
The blonde girl thanked her with a quick nod and walked in, seeing many girls changing into their sports clothes. Emily was used to it, so she's just ignore any eye contact with anyone and walked to a free spot. She put her stuff down and started undressing, so Anne joined her, not knowing anyone else, except for Olivia who left the room, not having to change her clothes as she wasn't participating. Emily put her sports pants on, not paying attention to her surroundings. Once she took her hoodie off, she felt a pair of eyes on her body. She looked to her left and saw Anne staring at her. The blonde girl didn't stop staring even though she saw that Emily caught her.
-Do you do a lot of sports?, asked the other girl.
-No. Can you stop now?, frowned Emily.
-I'm sorry, it's just, like, wow. I didn't expect that at all. I mean, look at you., replied Anne looking at Emily's body.
