"...please, Alex, please."

Alex and Thomas were just sitting at home, doing the usual. Alex was watching a murder documentary and explaining the concept to Thomas.
"You see, he hid it in there. That's actually a pretty dumb move. If it where me, I would put it in that bin."
Thomas looked over to Alex and raised his eyebrows.
"How do you know all this information?" Alex laughed, "I don't know, I just like these documentaries!"

They finished their dinner —macaroni and cheese— and went to bed. They slept peacefully, until the middle of the night, when there was a knock on the door of their apartment. Thomas rolled out of bed, falling on the floor. He slowly got up and walked to the door. He felt Alex walk up behind him. "Who is it?" Thomas unlocked the door, "I'm not sure."

The man at the door was a detective for the NYPD. He looked up and spoke. "I'm looking for Alexander Hamilton?" Alex quickly stepped forward, "Right here." He was shaking, worry lining his face. "Sir, I'm so sorry, but it is your mother. She was killed just a few short hours ago. We found her body outside her home." Alex didn't hear anything after that. Thomas would have to listen to the rest. Both of them were in shock. Thomas' mother had died a few years back, and afterwards, Alex's mother had treated Thomas like her own. "We have since found her killer." Alex finally snapped back to reality. He grabbed the detective by his collar, and grit his teeth, "Who. Was. It." The detective scrunched his face and stepped back. "All the evidence leads back to one person..."

"Aaron Burr."

Alex ran into their room, after thanking the detective for his time. Thomas noticed that he started mumbling and was frantically running around. Thomas was still shocked. "Alex, what are you doing?" Alex turned around to face Thomas. He could see it in his face, and in his eyes. Pure anger. "I am going to kill HIM for killing my mother!" He started packing his weapons. Thomas was now fully awake and alert. "Woah, woah, calm down Alexander. You cannot do that!" He demanded. Alex winced. He knew that when Thomas called him by his full name, he meant it. He circled around after zipping up his bag. Before he got to the door, Thomas pleaded, "Alex, don't go, you're going to die! Just stop, please, Alex, please." Alex didn't listen. He walked out the door and went to the bus stop.

Thomas stayed up all night worrying. He tried to stop him, he really did, but when Alex sets his mind to something, nothing can stop him. Finally, after waiting for what felt like 82747 hours, Thomas heard the door slowly creak open to reveal Alex. His eye was a bluish-black color, his head bloody, and he was walking with a limp. "Alexander..." Thomas trailed off when he saw Alex holding Burr's head. He had actually done it. He had murdered Aaron Burr. He walked into the kitchen and sat Burr's head on the counter. "Oh my God." Thomas stood up and bolted out the door. He didn't even want to hear Alex's words right now. He needed to know what happened from an onlooker.

Thomas knocked on the door three times. After a few moments, the door opened, and there stood a shaken up Laurens. "Were you there last night?" Laurens nodded. Thomas had thought so. Laurens was Alex's partner in crime. "Okay, then I need to know exactly what happened."

Laurens had told him that it all went down the middle of the woods behind the school. Burr and Alex both had their fingers on the trigger of their guns. Burr fired three shots into the night, before Alex had even laid eyes on him. All three shots had, thankfully, missed. While Burr's gun was jammed, Alex snuck up and struck him the back of the head with a frozen lamb chop. This killed him instantly. He took his head, and used his documentary skills he learned to get rid of the rest.

Thomas couldn't believe anything he had said. He didn't want to. He slowly walked back to their apartment, and opened the door. Alex was asleep in the bed. He had taken a shower, so at least he didn't smell like blood. As he was going to sit on the couch to think, Thomas heard a weird thumping noise behind him. He turned to see the most horrifying sight.

Aaron Burr's head was gone.
