Lesson 2: The Righteous Road Trip

Q: What road are you taking sa buhay mo ngayon?

INTRODUCTION

Most of us ay nakakita na ng mga motivational or inspirational post sa ating mga social media. Yung iba "Don't give up!", "Dream Big", at marami pang iba. Napapansin natin na we feel something na yes, namomotivate nga tayo at na i-inspired. But after we scroll down wala na ulit, after natin basahin yung post nawala na yung pakiramdam na yun and balik na ulit tayo sa dati natin state and situation.

I encourage you to rise beyond that motivational statements as you navigate and pray through where GOD is taking you in life.

The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.
Psalms 145:17 NIV

If we allow JESUS to move in our life, the road will be taken will be righteous. Hindi pinapangako na magiging madali, na walang struggle but for sure we have GOD.

The purpose and fulfillment starts with our willingness to join GOD in HIS plan and allow HIM to navigate our life roadtrip.

Ways
- "derek" (pronounced deh'-rek), hebrew words of ways.
- a road.
- a figurative course of life or mode of action

By aligning our hearts with GOD's and molding our desires to fit with HIS plan, we are joining HIM on HIS road, HIS plan, HIS course of action in HIS kingdom. We must always make sure to apply GOD's way in every part of our lives.

Kanina tinanong ko kayo if anong road na ang tinatahak mo, maaaring...

- seeking your career or kaya kung psra saan ka ba talaga and can also get paid for?

- working in new family dynamic at hinahanap mo role mo doon.

We must embrace this time and look forward down the road ahead.

Madalas sa buhay natin di na natin alam bakit tayo nandon sa part ng buhay natin, ginigusto nalang natin tumakas at umalis doon sa path na yun at gumawa ng sarili but always remember we must trust GOD's way only not our ways. Sabihin na natin madali ang way na pwede natin magawa but yung madali ba na iyon ay tama? Righteous road trip or easy but unrighteous roadtrip.

Focus on GOD's way, wag doon sa way ng iba. May time ka, may oras ka. Just trust and wait GOD.

Maaring 'di mo gusto ang tinatahak mo ngayon but trust HIM, may maganda SIYANG plano sa buhay natin.

Marami akong kakilala na ayaw nila ng ginagawa nila for example, sa course na tatahakin sa college dahil sa mga circumstances sa buhay di nila matake yung dream course nila but now they're happy and blessed.

May mga kakilala din akong hindi nakapagtapos ng pag aaral at talagang dumaan sa hirap but now they have prosperous life.

Nangyari yun because they trusted GOD's way and take the path He gave us.

CONCLUSION

After all of that, the main questions in our mind is this: "How do I know I'm even on that righteous path?"

Itong tanong na ito ay mahirap sagutin but it will depend on our spiritual maturity. It's faith. Ma as your leader, I can't answer that, kahit sino na kapwa mo Kristyano they can't answer that because ikaw at ang LORD lamang ang nakakaalm nan.

But there is some point na pwede natin tignan para malaman natin kung nasa righteous way tayo:

- if we are daily living in obedience to GOD's commands and feeding on HIS Word, yung buhay natin mapupunta talaga sa tama. If sinasabuhay natin yung daily devotions natin and all. Yes, sins might distract us but we know how to bow down to GOD and used the lessons we earned from that mistake to enrich our journey.

- Staying in constant prayer throughout our journey.

- Feeling of peace and contentment are key indicators that we are on God's righteous path for our lives. Kumbaga after we pray tapos we feel something na nakaka disturb and discontent, ibig sabihin may mali doon. Peace is the Holy Spirit of GOD moving in your life to highlight the fact you are where GOD wants you to be.

- A life full of worship of the King and a grateful heart full of thanksgiving keep us focused on the One who is most important, even more important than the journey itself.

In short, kung yun way na tinatahak mo ngayon ay nag papalayo sayo sa LORD, its time to go back to the original way and its never too late to come back to GOD's righteous way.

The unknown road ahead must not be forged with a spirit and attitude of cowardice or fear. The truth is, as much as we try to muster up our own version of bravery and boldness, we will fall short and burn out. But when we allow God to fill in the gap, when we open ourselves for His Spirit to pour out power, Strength, and love, our righteous journey will be successtul.

You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.
Psalms 65:5 NLT

PRAYER

Father God. I thank You for my friends and what You are doing in their lives as they chooses to rise up and yield to Your righteous ways for their lives. Help us to live obedient to Your call on our lives and to see our main purpose is in seeking after You with a life full of worship. O God, when this righteous journey You have us on seems tough or daunting, help us to lean in close to You and not allow discouragement to derail them from rising up. Give us peace when the road ahead seems foggy. Let Your Word speak directly to our heart, and bestow on us Your wisdom. When we draws near to You, Lord, we will trust that You will draw near to us as your Word promises in James 4:8. In Jesus name, amen!
