You were sitting in the field talking to Baphomet about the Velvet Room from yesterday, half processing information, half plotting.

"So what do we know?" you said.

"Well..." Baphomet began, "Something's brewing in a ruined building in the town and there are other people with personas that could possibly try to kill us should they find out we exist."

You put your hands together and pressed your index fingers to your lips, "And what do we do with that information?"

Baphomet looked over into town, "I guess we need to investigate the building but also be cautious of people who might have the same idea..." it turned away and said to itself, though you could still hear it, "And I get to harvest some macca and magnetite!"

Instead of berating it you asked, "What's all that?" Slightly startled you heard it but obliged you, "Macca is basically demon money, even demons need money," it tossed you a single coin with a weird "h" on it, "Magnetite is a substance, kinda like food, that allows demons to stay alive. Anyways I can get both of these from killing other demons." The way it said "killing other demons" so casually made you wonder how depraved demons must be to kill each other just for money and "food". You actually felt sort of bad for it.

"Damn," you said, "Being a demon must suck." Baphomet shrugged, "Ups and downs, anyways, let's go look at that building."

About five minutes of walking later you both reached the abandoned building, not  far from the school. "Man, this place IS creepy," you said, "No wonder people are scared of it."

Baphomet walked into the door, "What? Are you scared of some demons on MY level strength?"

You groaned and entered the ruined building, it was about 3 floors tall. You and Baphomet killed multiple demons and entered the 2nd floor. "So..." Baphomet said, "What should we do now? We haven't found anything."

You scratch your chin, "Maybe we should just go home for now..." You presented Baphomet's card and it returned to its field. And you left the building.

On your way home you ran into Miguel. "Heya!" he said, "Funny seeing you here." You wave at him, "Yeah, I was actually just heading home, what are you doing?" He pointed at the restaurant over across the street, "I was going to get something to eat. Wanna come with me?"

You remembered your promise to hang out with him, "Sure, I'm kinda hungry!" You both sat down, "So what does this place serve anyways?" you said.

Miguel kicked his feet up on the table and handed you a small piece of paper, a menu, "Everything they serve here is cold, meat, vegetables, everything. It's pretty popular during the hot seasons." You actually got curious at the concept of a cold steak and ordered one. It honestly wasn't that good... but it had a strange refreshingness to it.

As you walked back home you heard Baphomet's voice, "So do you think that this ruined building is the place?" You nodded

"There's a boat load of demons there and plus there's the fact it IS associated with fears, it all adds up."

"What should we do?"

You scratched your chin, "Let's ask Igor for advice!"

You reached the door to your room and entered the Velvet Room once again.

Victor acknowledged you, "What is it?"

You said, "I was more wondering, what could be done about that building?"

"Yeah that," Baphomet said.

Igor scratched his long nose for a moment and produced a comically old looking telephone that seemed to be made of bones. He seemed to have a short conversation on it with someone he referred to as "Philemon". He hung up the phone and turned back to you.
