Miss Bernice Kwan walked to school for her first day of the school teaching experience in Bash Street School. It's been days since she's moved to Beanotown to get a life and even a job of her own at the age of 26, away from home with her well meaning yet overbearing parents who aren't slightly open minded enough to let her do so since they can't even accept the thought of having to live with an empty nest syndrome now that her older sister had moved out a few years ago. She then took a deep breath and eventually her first step into the halls of Bash Street School and then walked through it with just some peace in her mind.

And that is until she heard someone being cheerful and excited while passing by her on a skateboard.

And she decided to turn her head, slightly irritated and decided to shout "Who in heck is skateboarding in the halls?!"

"Oh sorry Miss... wait, Woah! you're the new teacher?!" said the young boy passing by her. He had spiky and messy hair and wore a red and black striped jumper. He also had a dog with messy black fur who always follow him around and also clung onto his shoulders to act like a backpack, which make senses, according to Miss Kwan, as schools do not usually allow students to bring their pets unless it's something like a special activity such as a show and tell.

"Young man, put the board outside, NOW", said Miss Kwan, as she decided to act stern.

"WHAT?! YOU CAN'T BE LIKE ONE OF THOSE BORING, BLAND ADULTS WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT FUN IS!!"the young boy pouted as he was shocked on how stern and surprisingly attentive that new teacher is.

"Look kid, but I really do worry about you because first of all, back in my school we weren't allowed to do stunts like skateboarding in my primary school, but I don't really think I can handle this much longer to talk down to you on the good reason why you-

Okay fine,... you're free to go with your skateboard... and your messy furred pooch."

"Yes, Blamazing!"

He then decided to carry his skateboard along with the dog clinging onto his shoulders and head for class.

Which in fact, left Miss Kwan a little confused as one question raised on her head.

Was she growing up a little too much?
