Chapter 7
Mia
I walked away from Xzavier.  Our sparring had went on for a while.  I surprised my self with everything i did. Dusk helped of course. I had clearly took a lot more in during the sessions i sat and watched when my dad was working out to keep his skills up.
When Xzavier pinned me, i couldn’t help be see how gorgeous his emerald eyes were, how handsome his face was too.
But Dusk wasn’t happy he pinned us. So i flipped it and pinned him. His hands felt so good on my hips. I wanted to kiss him. I just couldnt. Hes the future Alpha. I cant just go doing shit like that.
Then i felt him grow underneath me. It surprised me at first. But like i told him im not naïve, i know about sex and being aroused. Being a virgin didn’t stop me from knowing about things. I may be innocent but i wasn’t stupid. I just wasn’t sure if it was because of me or if it was just a reaction to having a girl on top of him.
So i made light of it.  It made him laugh.
We ended up further away from the others then i realised.
As i made my way back i noticed the other wolves training had been watching.
“Well it looks like your more of your fathers daughter then you realised. youve just had an epic sparring session with both the Beta and the Alpha” my father said putting his arms around my shoulder.
“And it was a most impressive first session ive ever seen. I can still remember sparring with your dad in the back yard. We never could get you to join in.  Even his new sparring partner said he had never seen a wolf reluctant to spar before. But you where always watching. Clearly so very observant.” Cade added. Coming up behind us.
I saw the other wolves heading back to the pack house. 
We where walking ahead Xzavier and Jackson behind us. 
My dad and cade where in conversation i wasnt paying attention.  I was focused on how much i wanted a shower and food.
Then i felt someone rushing toward me from behind. Not Jackson or Xzavier and they definitely wanted to take me down. I waited a second before i spun around grab them and flipped them on their back i pinned them down with my knee.  I saw everyone stop and turn in my peripheral vison.
“Damn girl. I was just trying to say hello to an old friend”
“Justin?.. have you lost your mind"
Justin is Courtney’s older brother. He had been away at for college for the past couple of years. I didnt know he was back. 
I held out my hand to help him up. 
“Courtney didnt say you where back.”
“I just got back 30 minutes ago. Shes been here all afternoon. Then i saw you. Its good to see you peaches"
“Ugh... still with the peaches nickname”
“Always” i laughed and he pulled me into a spinning hug.  
“Justin" i heard Xzaviers voice boom across the field.
Justin put me down and turn towards him.
“Alpha i didnt see you there”
“how long are you back?”  Jackson asked
“all summer. Ive missed my family thought i would spend time with them this year...” he turned to talk to me “ mom told me you gained your wolf. I honestly couldn’t believe it. Little peaches at 16 with her wolf.” He laughed a little
“Peaches?” Xzavier asked. A frown marring his face.
“Oh yeah. That is a funny story...” before he could tell it i interrupted.
“ugh...Courtney is waiting inside come on” i dragged him away.
He laughed but let me pull him.
“Justin” Courtney Shouted and ran to give him a huge hug.
“Hey munchkin”
“How about we go to the diner in town? Like old times.”  Justin suggested.
“Sounds great. After i shower and change first" i said making a disgusting face.
Justin and Courtney sat downstairs with my parents as i jumped in the shower and changed. I had put on whit t shirt and black jeans. Simple.

Walking down the stairs i heard Justin growl “I’m going to punch him right in that  smug little face"
“there’s no need Mia kicked his ass, then kicked the Alphas too.” Courtney laughed.
“Ah so we are discussing my eventful day at my first sparing session.”
“And apparently your bloody bad ass too. Now i know why i got my ass handed to me too.....I’m still going to punch him for touching my sister.”
“He honestly didn’t hurt me that much..”
“he shouldn’t have used you in the first place” i argued.
“ Ok yes it was under handed but you would have continued to refuse to fight ... something your clearly skilled at, you picked up those moves so easily and were able to spar with the Alpha for a good hour and half before he pinned you.. which you then flipped so he was the one pinned.. you could be a great pack warrior like your father one day Mia. But we never would have seen that if he didn’t pull that trick” Courtney argued back.
“Ughh.. fine im too hungry to argue” i said.  Only partly true she had a point.
We headed out to the diner in Justin’s car. It was 15 minutes before we arrive at the diner and i had been peppering him with questions about college the whole time.
“I’m really glad your enjoying college Justin. Though you should come home more often, Courtney misses you.” I said as i we walked into the diner.
“Yeah i know, i just got caught up with my friends there you know. Ive really missed home.  I was planning on only staying a few weeks this summer but then mom told me about.. you know.  And i decided to stay all summer. Keep an eye on you both. Chase the boys away" he chuckled.
I rolled my eyes at him.
“Always the protective big brother” i mumbled. I had always wanted a sibling. The bond Courtney and Justin had someone to argue with to no end but still be protective and loving towards.  Court and Justin were the closet i had to siblings.
“Hey Mia.. and company come join us” Jackson shouted.
I looked up to see him and Xzavier sat in a booth. Justin Growled but walked over.
‘Could be trouble' Dusk said
‘Yeah but it will be fun to watch'  she laughed.
“I should punch you for the shit you pulled with Court this afternoon.. but i hear Mia already kicked your ass.” I could hear the smile on Justin’s face.
Me and Court stepped behind Justin.
“Just sit your ass down” she said giving him a nudge. He took the seat next to Jackson. I slid in beside Xzavier and Court sat next to Justin.
“Ah man... i really am sorry about this afternoon Courtney. I may have over did it but...” Jackson started
“Its fine Jackson, your forgiven unlike those two i actually see why you needed something underhanded” she cut in.
I grumbled.
“Have you two ordered?” i asked changing the subject to food. I was starving.
“Not yet no" Jackson answered.
“So Peaches you thought about what you going to do, after high school. Follow daddy’s footsteps be a pack warrior?” Jackson asked.
“Umm.... honestly i wanted to do medicine.  Be a pack doctor, heal people not hurt them" i said looking down at the menu. Even though i know what i was having.
“You really are so sweet...” Justin started
“She’s more than sweet, she's special. If gaining her wolf at 16 doesnt show that. Im not sure what will" Xzavier interrupted. I could hear the growl in his voice.
Justin frowned a little. “Well ive known peaches all her life. I think i know how special she is. Bet you didnt even know who she was before she gained her wolf? So what you’ve only known her a couple of days?”
“I dont need to know her all her life to know how special she actually is.” Xzavier sneered.
The testosterone level at the table rose so fast. You could basically choke on it. 
Both of them stared each other down.
“Alright enough.. if you two are done measuring your dicks.. i would like to get some food”
Justins jaw dropped “Peaches that mouth"
“Oh dont act so shocked, im not the little 14 year old girl you remember and used to tease endlessly. Jesus even then i used to swear and call you all the names i could think of once Courts bedroom door closed”
Court Nods “its true”
“Now stop testing me right now because ive had a long day fighting with those two fools... and im so god damn hungry. Ifs not even funny"
The waitress came over the  to take our orders.
“Actually could we get a couple more...” Justin Started.
“Well have 5 cheeseburger and fries, 2 sides of onion rings, 3 sides of cheese melt dippers. 2 strawberry milkshakes, 1 vanilla milkshake, 1 oreo and 1 rocky road. And a jug of water for the table please. Thank you" i interrupted. The waitress left.
I looked around at everyone, the only person not surprised was Court.
“What?! I told you i was hungry... i wasn’t waiting for you idiots to decide”  damn i more hungry then usual. And irritable.
“How did you know our milkshake orders?” Xazvier asked with a smile.
I turned toward him “ well me and Court always have strawberry, Justin always has Vanilla... he’s always been boring like that ..”
“Hey!” he protested. I chuckled.
“Jackson always has a packet of Oreos around , after the meeting i saw him eating them and again before and after training.... and you well your all hard shell on the outside but i think under that there’s hidden soft side that would need to be found”
“Jesus your are observant like you dad.” Jackson added.
Xzavier was looking at me with huge smile on his face and i laughed.
He turns to Justin saying “ time to tell us why you called her peaches"
“No! Dont” i said to Justin.
He just burst out laughing.
“It was when she was 10.... we where helping my mom take bake goods to the retirement home here in town, and Mia was carrying out peach cobbler pies. She tripped and ended up with peach cobbler pie all over her. Justin just happened to witness it and he’s called her peaches since”  Court told them as Justin couldn’t stop laughing.
I was bright red.  Xzavier and Jackson where laughing now too.
Thankfully the waitress  came with our food then and we just enjoyed some light-hearted conversation and funny stories.
