Celena was asleep against Mor's side, we moved into the living room as the dining room smelled of smoke, Celena didn't even stir. As soon as we sat down, I turned on Amren.

"What the hell were you thinking!" I tried not to yell but I couldn't help it, I was beyond angry.

"Celena needed to realise that she got some of her power back that she lost when forging the lock, a year ago, I could either tell her who I was and leave this house as rubble or list off her entire life and set the room on fire, it was a bit of a gamble, but it worked." She didn't even seem to care that she told us all of Celena's fears and secrets.

"You couldn't have just said, oh Celena, you got some of your power back?" I snapped at her.

"She wouldn't have believed me." Amren had her arms crossed, none of us would sit near her.

"You took it too far; I don't want to hear your excuses." I retorted.

She opened her mouth to speak again when a loud knock sounded on the door. I got up to open it.

"Lucien, this is a surprise." I didn't bother with pleasantries.

"You tend to be the people to come to when strange things happen, Tamlin is missing, and a man called Dorian was in his bed this morning." He didn't even to wait to be let in.

"It's funny you should say that the same thing happened here, Feyre is gone, bring this Dorian here, maybe him and the woman who replaced her know each other." I was more thinking out loud, but he gave a nod and winnowed away. A minute later he was back with a human man.

"Hello, I'm Rhysand, come in."

I didn't bother to wait and see if they followed before walking back to my family.

"Aelin! What did you do to her." Dorian ran over to Mor and Aelin, who was still asleep.

"We did nothing, she had a magic tantrum and now she's sleeping it off." Amren replied.

"But she hasn't had one of them in over a year, ever since she forged the lock." Dorian was crouched in front of her.

"She got some of her powers back." Amren replied.

"Who is Aelin?" Azriel butted in.

"What do you mean who is Aelin, she's asleep on your sofa!" Dorian looked beyond confused.

"She said her name was Celena and she was telling the truth." Mor replied.

Dorian sighed "Of course she did, Celena is one of her names, the one she tends to use so she doesn't get recognised, Aelin is her real name."

"She also said she was Adarlan's Assassin" I cut in.

"She was that too, from the ages of fourteen until she was eighteen, she was Adarlan's best assassin, feared across the whole country, no one knew she was just a teen girl though, even I was surprised when I found out." he turned on Amren again.

"How the hell do you even know so much about us, we aren't in our world." Dorian had gone back to looking super pissed.

"Would you like me to list off your life like I did with Aelin?" Amren smiled sweetly.

She was suddenly picked up using invisible hands and slammed into the wall. "You did what!" Dorian yelled.

"Put me down, right now." She growled.

"No, you told Aelin's entire life to strangers, I don't know if you have noticed but her life has been pretty crap, yet you felt like you could just strip her bare like that!" Dorian wasn't yelling anymore; he had slipped into a lethal quiet.

"Would you like me to tell them how your father" she stopped emitting sounds.

"You are not laying my life out too, do you understand. I don't care how powerful you are here, hell, I don't care if you rule this place, you will not tell them a single thing about me." He snarled.

I was just stood there stunned, a human had powers and had easily passed through Amren's defences, unless she wanted him too.

"I am going to let you go now, if you even try and finish the sentence you started, I won't leave you conscious long enough to finish the first word."

Amren fell to the floor grinning like a fool, Dorian had done exactly what she wanted, he had shown us his powers.

"Dorian, what are you doing here?" Aelin's voice was little more than a rasp. He crouched down in front of her.

"Are you ok or are you still burning?" he asked her gently.

"I think I'm ok." she whispered back to him.

"Good, because Rowan would kill me if you burnt up on my watch." He smiled at her.

"Yes, he really would, and death by Rowan is not how I'd want to go out." She chuckled.

"How did you get here?" he questioned.

"I'm assuming the same way you did but I don't know how, I woke up in his mate's place this morning." She had pushed herself away from Mor.

"Oh boy, does that mean this Tamlin person that I keep getting asked about woke up beside Manon?" He looked like he was trying to hide a smile.

"I don't suppose any of you like this person?" Aelin looked around the room.

"We all hate him, only Lucian tolerates him." I replied.

"Good because if he did wake up next to Manon, I doubt he is still living." Aelin didn't stop the wicked grin that spread over her face.

"Do I want to know why?" I asked.

"My wife is a witch, she has the ability to snap out iron teeth and claws, if he woke up in my place then she would have used them." he replied.

"You married a witch who could gut you in your sleep?" Cassian questioned.

"I guess I did, yes." He looked thrilled by it.

"Your wife and Nesta should compare notes." Cassian grumbled.

"Speaking of Nesta, shouldn't we tell her about Feyre?" Mor cut in.

"What, and have her reduce this place to rubble, no thanks." I retorted.

"Aelin, I don't suppose you know how to get home?" Dorian asked.

"I'm assuming you told them that my real name is Aelin and not Celena." She didn't look at all ashamed that she lied to us.

"Yeah, although the small annoying one already knew." he replied, glaring at Amren.

"I guessed as much when she called me out on being the Queen of Terresen." Aelin looked inclined to kill Amren and given her past carrier I didn't think it would be quick.

"Did you tell them who you are Dorian?" Aelin was smiling sweetly at him.

"No, I guess it is only fair that they know." He grumbled.

"Dorian is the King of Adarlan." Aelin supplied when she saw my raised eyebrow.

"I thought you killed the King of Adarlan?" Cassian questioned.

"Yeah, I killed his father." She didn't seem at all sorry.

"Hold on, you killed his father and yet you are still friends?" Mor was looking a little shocked.

"Mor, if any of us went and killed your father you wouldn't mind." I reminded her.

"My father wasn't exactly a nice person, she did me a favour." Dorian glanced at Aelin as if asking permission for something, she shook her head.

"Who wants to train?" Cassian piped up.
