I got one of my more conservative night dresses for Feyre to wear. Once Yrene had finished healing her we put the dress on and covered her with a thick blanket.

"Will she be ok?" I dared ask.

"Physically she will be fine with rest and no sexual activity for a while. Mentally, the road will probably be long and hard." She looked down at Feyre with pity in her eyes.

"I was trained from a young age the in art of the bedroom. My virginity was sold off whether I was ready to lose it or not. Aelin's old master brought it and used me in a way I wasn't ready for, because he brought me, he could do whatever he pleased, regardless of what I wanted. He never held back, even that first time, I will always remember the pain it caused, how he didn't care that I was bleeding or in pain. From that day on I was his personal plaything for two years before Aelin finally got me free. Even on my wedding night I couldn't have sex with Aedion, the scars run too deep, I'm lucky enough that he understands."

Yrene stepped forward and took my hands, "I knew that you belonged to Clarisse at one point, but I never thought it got that far, I'm so sorry."

I shook my head, wiping the tears off my cheeks. I turned back to face Feyre and knew that I was going to do everything I could to help her through this.

As I watched she rolled onto her side and murmured a name "Rhys."

Yrene stepped forwards, "Hey, you shouldn't move too much, ok?" her voice was gentle and kind but it startled Feyre who jolted upright.

Yrene put her hands behind Feyre's shoulders to support her but I knew as she was doing it that it was the wrong thing to do.

Feyre pushed Yrene off her and I caught her before she could fall over. Feyre fell off the bed and landed on the floor with a thud. She scrambled to her feet and backed away from us. She slammed into the wall and fell to her knees. Darkness covered her as Rowan ran in.

"What on earth?" he was looking between the ball of darkness where Feyre was and us.

"She freaked out." Yrene supplied.

"Let me talk to her," I half whispered it, but Rowan already knew of my past and I had just told Yrene, they both nodded and left. I went over to Feyre and sat next to the swirling darkness.

"I am Feyre Curse Breaker, Defender of the Rainbow, Cauldron Blessed, High Lady of the Night Court, Rhysand's mate and I cannot be tamed or caged."

I heard her whispering to herself. I wasn't sure what most of that meant but it seemed to be important, so I wasn't going to question. The darkness soon expanded to encompass almost half of the room and stars twinkled all around me. I couldn't stop myself from gasping at the beauty of it.

Feyre's head snapped up but she relaxed when she saw it was me.

"This is beautiful." I breathed.

"My mate did this for me as I was on the verge of breaking into a million pieces, even though he is in another world he can still be here in the stars." She stood and I stood with her.

"These three are the ones that make up the three stars of the Night Court insignia, like the one that is inked onto my palms." She told me.

"Do your tattoos mean something? Rowan's tell the stories that he doesn't want to forget." I asked, I was so curious.

"In my court it is a custom to have bargains inked upon flesh. The two on my arms both signify different things. One I got when I took my vows to the Night Court and was crowned High Lady, the other I got when I promised Rhys that if one of us dies so does the other, that has a backstory but I'm not going to get into that now. I also have the phases of the moon inked down my spine for a bargain I made with an ancient monster, it agreed to fight in a war for me and in exchange I gave it light in its home under a library. The two on my arms are made out of Illyrian markings for luck and glory on the battlefield, the Illyrians are a warrior race of fae, the wings I have are Illyrian wings and my mates brothers are both Illyrian." She was staring at the three stars she had pointed out.
