Our memories running through my mind,
Oh how I wish I wasn't so lonely tonight.
Can't we just press rewind?
To that beautiful sight...
We were together like pancakes and syrup,
We were like two kids so immature.
Our bond had no makeup,
It was naked and pure.
Everywhere we went; we went as a duet,
I was puppy love and everyone could see.
It wasn't over yet,
You were a part of me.
But one day the grey cloud covered our bright sun,
For I became another book on the shelf.
This had ended our fun,
And I hated myself.
Times have passed but our love is still meant to be,
A I rewind our memories from above.
It warms my heart to see,
You sir are my first love.
