I woke up not remembering when I had fallen asleep. I'm still lying on Newt because I can feel and see his arms around me. I think he is asleep, though, because it sounds like he's snoring. I move a little trying not to wake him because he probably needs the sleep. Unfortunately, as I move, he instantly wakes up.
"Oh hey love, how was your sleep?" he says as he stretches his arms.
"It was good. I didn't even know I fell asleep. When did you fall asleep?"
"I fell asleep a little while after you."
"Oh, ok. Do you know the time?" I ask.
"It's almost 10 pm. We should probably start to pack up, Tommy's mom is going to be here soon."
"Yeah, let's go help them," I say, pointing to our friends.
We walk to them and start to help pack everything and clean the garbage.
"Why did you guys not wake us up? We could've helped." I say.
"Well, you two looked so cute sleeping, and I didn't want a shoe to be thrown and hit my hair," Minho says as he touches his hair.
"Oh no, how dare something mess up your hair!" Gally says sarcastically.
"I don't just wake up with this hair. It takes time," Minho says, defending himself.
"Oh shut up, Minnie, or I will throw a shoe at you," I say.
We all continue to clean up, and just as we finish, Thomas's mom comes to pick us up. We all take our thing and pile into the silver minivan she drives. This time Thomas is in the front, and Gally, Alby and Ben are in the middle row because they are being dropped off first. Newt, Allie and I are in the back, with me being in the middle of them. I'm still a little tired, so I rest my head on Newt's shoulder. We make it to my house in 30 minutes, and I say thank you to Thomas and his mom as I get out of the van. I say goodbye to Newt and Thomas and walk to my front door. I open my front door and walk into the living room to talk to my mom. I sit down beside her on the couch.
"How was the bonfire?" my mom asks.
"It was really fun. We had marshmallows and played games. It was great."
"That's nice."
"I'm going to go to bed. Goodnight," I say, walking up the stairs.
"Goodnight, love you." my mom says.
