The cruelest form of punishment is selfishness. Wanting so desperately to preserve oneself that humanity is lost. Who classifies what is humane? To what degree can it be called justified? Lashing out due to unfathomable amounts of pain can be spun to fit every argument, yet nobody seems to realize we're drowning in hypocrisy. Everyone preaches to their own accord, but words are seldom heard for what they are; for intent is often something that isn't there.
