Still The Good Girl?

Chapter 12

"Good morning" someone says way too cherry.

"Ugg go away!" I grown turning away from the person and back into my pillow, however, my pillow is hard and moving. I slowly open my eyes to see Luke's closed ones only a few centimeters from mine. The sight of his eyes puts a smile on my face.

I feel someone poke my arm which makes me turn around.

"What?!" I whine.

"Time to get up! We have to go home now before the next storm hits, 'cause if we don't then we will probably be here until next year." Nicole says.

"Ugg fine! And why did you wake me up and not this guy?" I point to Luke.

"I did! He just pulled you closer to him and snuggled with you!" She defends herself.

"Whatever" I try to slowly get out of Luke's grip but he just pulls me closer to him. He must think I'm the girl he was talking about last night.

After about a good five tries I finally get out and not wake up the beast.

"Hey Nicole," I ask whale I walk out of the room.

"Yea" she responds.

"Do you know of the girl Luke likes?" I ask her.

"Yea I have noticed he has been looking at a girl different from all the others. Why?" She looks at me with a smirk on her face.

"Oh I was just wondering because he kinda blue up on me last night about a girl he likes, and by the way he was talking about her it sounds like he is in lover with her" I say which just makes Nicole's smirk grow. "So, who's the girl?"

"Your really that oblivious aren't you?" She shakes her head and turns around.

"What oblivious about what?" I walk up to her.

"Do you see the way he looks at you? Oh and not to mention the way you look at him?" I shake my head. "He likes you! And I know you like him back so make a move already! He has had the hots for you since you got to this crap ass town!" She has me confused now.

"What do you mean? He doesn't like me! Your funny!" I laugh.

"You didn't deny that you like him so you must like him! listen to me and make a move and see how things play out." I shake my head "just do it for me! Please?" I sigh and nod my head "yeaaa!" She cheers

"What's with all the yelling?" Luke comes out of the room. He looks tired but hot as hell!

"Well I'm going to pack and I will see you when we get back?" Nicole gets up and I nod and wave as she leaves.

"What does she mean?" Luke's looks confused.

"We have to pack and hit the road because there is a serious storm coming in." I say. Luke nods understanding and goes into the kitchen. I go to the bathroom and go back into the kitchen.

Luke is standing there making eggs and toast. He finished scrambling eggs and tips it onto two plates just as the toast popped out of the toaster. I reach for it at the same time as Luke, and it was just one of those perfect movie moments where the hands touch and you know the chapters are going to kiss. Only this time it was his arms somehow accidentally circling me, pinning me against the counter as he reaches for the toast, and bracing against the edge of the fridge as he leans forward.

I look at his face, then his lips. It's now or never. I think, so I lean in and kiss him. He is shocked for a few seconds but then I find him kissing me back. We are like that for I don't even know how long.

"Finally!" someone yells. me and Luke pull apart to see Will standing there.

"What are you doing here" Luke growls.

"Oh I just came to see if you two were at each others thoughts but I see you two are doing just that but in the opposite way I was implying it to be." Will turns around and leaves.

"Now where were we?" Luke says leaning in. I hold up a hand and ask a question before I can even think.

"Who is the girl you love?" I stare deep into his eyes.

"Um if I tell you will you not run away?" I nod. "We it's you" and with that I kiss him really deep. I pull back to catch my breath.

"Well, I love you too" I say and his eyes light up and he kisses me again. I laugh against his lips and kiss him back.

I am packed and ready to go. All my stuff is in Luke's car and I'm waiting for him to get his but out of the house and into the warm car.

He finally comes walking out and into the car we pull away and onto the road.

"Can I ask you a question?" Luke asks.

"You just did" I say.

"Well can I ask you two questions ten?" Luke asks.

"You just did" I giggle.

"Ug! Fin can I ask you 4 questions!" He asks.

"Shoot!" I say

"What are we when we get back?" He asks seriously.

"What do you want to be?" I look at him.

"Well I want to be your boyfriend."

"And I want to be your girlfriend"

"Then it's settled" he says.

Luke pulled up in front of my house to drop me off. I lean over, give him a kiss on the cheek and say my goodbyes, I get out grab my stuff and head inside.

As I open the door and walk in I hear Caleb and a girl talking. I quietly put my stuff down and walk to hear what they are talking about.

"You heard of the boy Lucas who lives next door?" Caleb says.

"Yea he doesn't seem like the nicest boy" the girl says.

"Yea I know he is such a prick!" He says. What does Caleb have against Luke!

"He once beat up my brother, Peter" she says. " I really hate that kid"

"Yea so do I" Caleb says. That drew the last straw. I come up with a very smart plan.

"Caleb! Caleb!" I run into the living room. "Guess what!" I walk up to him and sit on his lap. "I have a boyfriend!"

"Really good for you! Who is it?" Caleb asks me. i get up from his lap and start to walk away.

"It's Luke" and with that I sprint up to my room and lock the door. I sit on the floor exhausted. I get up and go lay in my bed not even realizing in fell asleep.
