Chapter 1: Kitty (ORIGINAL)

A normal day at the mall before opening, Kitty's Kitchen is ready for all the customers who are hungry for food, Robby starting to get ready to open the doors, and Mousy is finishing some final touches on the clothing store. "You ready Kieran?" I asked my 13 year old brother. "Ready as always Kitty!" He replied, confidently like he usually is. "Everyone Ready!?" Robby yelled. Every morning before opening, we all yell "Open the doors!" and that is what we did! Multiple people came in heading straight for Mousy's clothing shop and My Restaurant. Kieran is giving me food orders almost every five minutes for the people who are sitting at the tables and I have a full counter! I am glad I had food already made from this morning to serve.

Then, someone came to me saying "Hello, I would like the chef please." I could tell that it was a boy, and I felt like I recognized the voice. "I am the chef, Kitty Cat." I told the man. "FOXY!!!!" Kieran yelled.  I finally looked up at his face. It was my only cousin, Foxy. "So, how are you on this busy day?" Foxy asked me. "Kitty! I need a battery!" Robby yelled. "Catch!" I threw the battery at Robby, and luckily he caught it. "So, you were saying?" I asked Foxy. "Nevermind." He told me. "So, is Clowny here?" I asked. "No, he said that he had to do something. I don't know what through." Foxy responded. "Order up!" I yelled. Kieran came over and grabbed more food for the other customers. "Wow, how do you do it?" Foxy asked. "Living on a farm, trying to cook for a lot of people, and Kieran is just used to working with me," I told Foxy, "trust me, I am tired." "I can tell, wait how the heck have you been washing dishes while you have been talking to me?" Foxy asked, shocked. "Yep! And getting some more food out." I said. "You must be the hardest working person in the mall!" Foxy exclaimed. "Probably!" Kieran claimed while he was walking back.

Bang! The door shut so loudly, which caused everyone in the restaurant to look at the door. It was a sheep and a pig. Everyone went back to their conversations. They came up to the counter, "Oh! Foxy!" The Sheep exclaimed. "Hey Sheepy!" Foxy replied. I was so confused, but I was just going to do my job. "So, what can I get for you?" I asked, trying to hide the confusion I had in my mind. "Grass, please." Sheepy, I think said that, but I know it was the sheep. "Do you have anything good? Like anything for a pig?" The pig said, a little snotty. "Penny, don't be rude!" Sheepy told, who I think is Penny. "I should, but what would you like?" I asked, a little annoyed. "I will have some corn please." Penny replied, again being snotty. I guess she isn't a cat person. "So, how do you two know each other?" Foxy asked Penny and Sheepy. "We were childhood friends, I guess I don't mention her a lot to you." Sheepy replied.

"Are you and whoever that is dating?" Penny said out of nowhere. I felt furious after what she said. "What the heck!? No! She is my cousin!" Foxy claimed, angrily. We were accused of dating a lot. It was starting to annoy us way too much. Sheepy wasn't impressed with Penny after Foxy answered her question. I could tell that they had a weird friendship. Penny was very outgoing, confident, and the "lead" in their friendship. Sheepy, on the other hand, was only talking to the people she knew, Penny and Foxy. She never really talked to me, probably because she didn't really trust me enough. From what I heard, Sheepy had really bad trust issues and I wasn't curious why. I would never question my customers. We talked as I cleaned and cooked for hours. Sheepy actually talked to me! I guess she just had to gain her trust. "Don't you have to close up?" Foxy asked. "Well I can't if you guys are here!" I claimed. Everyone said goodbye as Kieran and I closed up.

At around 6 o'clock the lights in the mall started flickering. "Kieran, Stay here. I am going to see what is happening. You know where my shovel is if you are in danger." I demanded of him. I went outside to the main area of the mall, closing the door and locking it. I saw Mousy running from Robby. I wanted to go up to see what was happening seeing if Robby was malfunctioning. I went upstairs to see something horrifying. Robby cut off Mousy's legs. Mousy quickly climbed into the vent so Robby wouldn't get her. After a moment of Robby trying to get to Mousy he started running after me. I ran into my kitchen to grab my shovel. Then I heard a scream. "Kieran!" I ran into the dining area, and saw Robby trying to kill Kieran. "Move!" I yelled. I ran at Robby with my shovel and whacked him in the head. "KIERAN! RUN!" I yelled.

After a few hours I knocked Robby out, and started a search.

A search for my brother.
