it's been five years.

five years since i dropped amaya out of the sky. i haven't been the same since. we never saw her again at school.. and when i brought her up, the pro heroes had only searched for a little while. i questioned myself since that day. could i ever be a true hero? could any of us? the way we treated her.. the way i treated her..

that day when i kissed her..

god i don't even know what i was thinking.. she was just.. she was beautiful, and she was so bright. it felt like the right moment for it, but looking back it probably made her really uncomfortable, being that it was both of our first kisses.

what the hell goes through my head?

why did i drop her?? why did i listen to my asshole classmates? why??

everyday since then i've thought of a way we could've had her escape with us. after i used my blast, she could've used her air manipulation to guide us more gently to the ground. there were a million ways she could've helped, i could've held her on my back so she wouldn't be dangling. it would've been no trouble at all.

but we left her.

i left her.

and now she's a villain.

magenta is her name.

her identity hasn't been revealed, and she scarily sneaky, no hero had really faced her for long. she's good at staying hidden. she originally made her debut with the LOV about four years ago.. a year after i dropped her. a few months after that.. she'd been on her own. i thought she was dead, turned out she was alive and well. nobody at our school, not even the pro heroes had an idea of who she was..

i thought it was pretty obvious.

but i forget everyone alive is an idiot but me.

present day;

it was a warm spring day. me and a few other pro heroes were patrolling around the city, making extra sure to keep an eye out for magenta. the clock had struck 5pm, that was my signal to swap off with some other hero. now i'm free for the rest of the day.

i wonder what amaya is up to right now. probably no good. she barely interacts with citizens.. like her "reign of terror," is hardly an attack on anyone innocent.

news has it that she's never killed anyone, but she's done a scary amount of damage to heroes.

in the past 2 weeks, four pro heroes had been sent into hospitals all around the city.

tenya iida, her first target, the most brutally injured. when he was interviewed he said he recalled her saying the words,

"look hero, now your just like your older brother!! aren't you so proud of yourself, hero?" before he was knocked out.

he's in critical condition and doctors are struggling to give a definite answer on whether he'll stay alive or not.

denki kaminari, her second target. he was admitted to the hospital hours after iida, only a few minutes after his patrol started. denki's flirtatious manner and magenta's suprise attack techniques did her justice in the situation. he was an easy target.
