Looking through

9 2 1

The blades of tears

Stream down my cheek

Cutting open

Every inch of me

Staining the white snow

Crimson red.

Only the wise forest owl knows

Who looks at me

Through crystal blue eyes

Who watches me

As I hide.

The pain given from you

To me.

But you cannot see

Yet you look through

Black eyes.

Given to you by none other

Than the wolf

Who follows me in the woods

Stepping on sticks

But trying not to be heard,

To be unseen

So I run.

The red snow rising

And the trees sinking

Deep into the ground.

But you cannot run,

For you cannot see

What lies ahead of me

Your eyes have been burnt

Blackened.

And I am left alone,

On the wings of the owl

Looking through his eyes

Unraveling the lies

Of the tears I have she'd

And the crimson red snow.
