"GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THAT BATHROOM RIGHT NOW, KAIA!" 19 year old Kaia's mother screamed. Kaia paused a moment in the bathroom frightened. She looked at herself in the mirror, "You are not afraid. You are not afraid." Kaia said. Kaia's crackhead mother was waiting for her outside the bathroom. "Where yah going? Kaia?" her mother screamed. Kaia didnt say a word and packed her backpack. Kaia was sick and tired of her mother and wanted to leave her already. "YOU FUCKING BITCH! GET YOUR LOSER ASS OVER HERE!" Her mother screamed. She pulled Kaia's hair so hard causing her to fall on the ground. "Baby, you aint going nowhere. As long as the State of California is paying us, you aint leaving me baby.." she said. Kaia fought back to her mother and kicked her in the stomach and ran. Her mother managed to pull her back and punched her until she bled. Kaia kicked and kicked her mother back until she fell and ran out the rundown building. Outside was a yellow cab waiting for her. Kaia barely managed to escape her mother. Her mother came shortly running after her and pounding on the cab doors trying to get Kaia to open up. The yellow cab drifted off...
<Kaia POV>
"LAX Airport..." I said. The cab driver stared into his rear view mirror looking at my bruised face and my black eye. He dropped me off at LAX and I went to the front desk to check in. "And your name, ma'am?" the flight attendant asked. "Kaia Ahn..." I said. She boarded me on the plane to Korea. I knocked out the whole plane ride and when I woke up I arrived in Korea. I walked out of the airport in shock. I needed to find my father, Mr. Ahn somewhere in this place. What's next?" I said.
