- Time Line-
The kids are 13 before the chunin exams.

-Iruka's P.O.V-

"As long as you discuss it with their sensei you can take them." The hokage told me.

I gladly walked out of the hokage's office. After millions of attempts I finally got the hokage to agree with me. I started to walk to where I know Kakashi-sensei always sat, on the tree branch, above the bench, reading his perverted book. While I was on my way Naruto started to walk next to me and ask me a bunch of questions, typical Naruto.

"What are you doing Iruka-sensei?" He asked.
"I'm trying to find Kakashi-sensei. Do you know if he's still reading his book in that tree?"
He looked at me with a smirk, that smirk he gives when he's up to something.
"I might remember where he is if I had some ramen." I rolled my eyes and chuckled.
"Come on then." and we started walking to the ramen shop with him. We ordered our food and Naruto started chowing down. I swear this kid is gonna drain my bank account.

We finished eating I ate one bowl and Naruto ate an ungodly amount.
"I think I remember where Kakashi-sensei is now. Follow me." I followed him as he brought me to the woods. He said thats where they had been training that day. "Kakashi-sensei, where are you?!" Naruto and I stood there for a few moments in silence.
"Maybe he's busy, Naruto. I'll talk to him tomorrow, let's go." As we were starting to walk away Kakashi-sensei dropped from the tree behind us with his book in his hand. Naruto and I were not surprised.

-Kakashi's P.O.V.-

I heard Naruto call for me but I chose to ignore him. I love my team and I'd protect them with my life but I was reading my book and it was starting to get to one of the good parts. Then I heard Iruka's voice. Good, a civilized adult... that I can mess with. I jumped down behind them still holding my book using my finger to mark the page I was on while I grabbed my book mark. They turned around to look at me as I put the book in my bag, then I looked back at them.

"There you are, Iruka-sensei wanted to talk to you, Dattebyo!" Naruto said in his normal overly excited tone. I got really close to Iruka's face, so close that he had to move his head back. His face started heating up so I decided to back off and asked him what he wanted to talk about.

His face cooled down but it was still hot. He cleared his throat "I was wondering if you would like to take your team camping to reward them for their hard work?" When Naruto heard this he perked up and started begging me to say yes. I thought about it for a second then thought of a few questions I needed to ask him "Are you coming with us, how will this benefit my team, and is there anyone else besides you, me, and my team?"
"Yes I'm coming too, camping could help improve their survival skills, and I was thinking of bringing Hinata too so that it's not awkward for Sakura."
"Why would it be awkward for Sakura?"
"Because she would be the only girl."

The kids have been working extra hard lately, I thought. "Alright Iruka, we can all go camping. I'll tell Sakura to ask Kurenai if Hinata can go."

Naruto looked at us and asked "So when are we going, Iruka-sensei." "I was thinking about this weekend if that's okay with everyones sensei's?" He responded. Naruto looked at me with a look of hopefulness.

I decided to mess with them a little bit so I put my fingers on my chin and said "I think I'm busy this weekend." I looked at Naruto and Iruka's faces. They both had a pouty face. "But-" I said as I walked up to Iruka "I'll make a change of plans-" then I put my fingers on his chin and watched his face turn redder. "For you."

I pulled his forehead protector down over his eyes and started walking away. Before I left I stole a glance at him. He was pulling his forehead protected back up while muttering what I'm guessing is curse words at me. But no matter how many words he muttered his face remained redder than a tomato while Naruto just stared at him in confusion.
