There's a girl who once was alive
She used to look out the window
Through the curtains that would hide
Her away from the world
She'd stay in her room all day
And when people try to talk
She would have nothing to say
She'd walk down the school halls
With her held down
She was invisible and
She'd disappear in the crowd
Ever so perfectly
But on one normal day
She bumped into a boy's chest
He tried his best to say
He was sorry but before
He could utter a word
She was already running
Out the school doors
He didn't know who she was
Since she was always so quiet
She had never been noticed
Unlike others, she hated riots
He watched as she walked home
Only to stay and never come back
Like the others and roam
The streets and the malls
And soon the girl who was never found
Became an interest to him
He wanted to show her around
And when the day came
He found her and spoke
To her and made
A quick mental note
That she was nervous but still
He knew she was more
And every day when he'd talk
The girl would feel a little less torn
The boy knew that soon she'd talk back too
And when she did
The boy knew just what he'd say
I know it makes you nervous
But I promise you it's worth it
To show em who you're inside
Please don't hide
