Valentines Day

It wasn't Valentine's Day and the first one since rainbow dash and applejack had started dating, they had both gone out with a separate friend each to try and find each other a present. Rainbow had gone with fluttershy and applejack had gone with rarity.

Rainbow: *panicking* fluttershy I've got no no idea what to aj for Valentine's Day!

Fluttershy: relax dashie you'll find something.

Rainbow: but I've never been in a relationship before, I've got no idea what kind of stuff you're supposed to buy or if she'll like.

Fluttershy: it's from you so as long as you put thought into it, she'll love it no matter what it is.

Rainbow: *smiling* you sound like twilight.

Fluttershy: let's just go and find a Valentine's Day gift for applejack.

Rainbow: yeah ok.

*at the shopping centre*

Aj: *rolls her eyes* seriously rarity? You said you'd come to the shopping centre to help me find a Valentine's Day gift for rainbow, not to try on every single item of clothing known to the human race.

Rarity: have patience darling, the beauty and fashion is the perfect present.

Aj: but rainbow doesn't even like fashion.

Rarity: *distracted but the blue sequinned top she wasn't trying on* who?

Aj: rainbow dash my girlfriend, and one of your best friends remember?

Rarity: oh right of course silly me! Let's go and find a gift for dashie.

Aj: finally!

Rarity: ooh but first let me try on these. *holds up about 10 more clothing items*

Aj: *groans*

*at the pet store*

Fluttershy had decided to take rainbow to the pet store to see if they could find a Valentine's Day present for applejack there, or at least that's what fluttershy had said though rainbow was starting to have doubts.

Rainbow: hey fluttershy are we really here looking for a Valentine's Day gift?

Fluttershy: of course why wouldn't we be?

Rainbow: well because, aj isn't all that into animals, she lives on a farm so they already have loads of working ones and you've been staring at that baby hedgehog for 20 minutes now.

Fluttershy: *turns red with embarrassment* sorry rainbow, he's just so cute.

Rainbow was starting to become worried that's she'd never be able to find a gift and she supposed to be meeting applejack in half and hour for, Valentine's dinner. She was looking across the way and she saw the perfect thing.

Rainbow: *takes fluttershy's hand* come on fluttershy I think I've found something.

*back the clothing store*

Aj: come on rarity I'm supposed to be meeting dash in 20 minutes and I don't have a gift for her.

Rarity: just get her something that is special and with thought, she'll love it no matter what it it.

Aj: *thinking* I've got it, let's go!

She dragged rarity out of the store and they went to buy this gift for rainbow.

*at the restaurant*

Applejack had made reservations at her and rainbows favourite restaurant which, was an all you can eat bbq house.

Aj: *nervously* do you think she'll like the gift?

Rarity: relax darling she'll love it, because she loves you. Good luck.

Applejack made her way into the restaurant and found rainbow already sitting at the table, she approached her from behind wrapped her arms around rainbow.

Aj: *kisses rainbows cheek* hey cutie.

Rainbow: *stands up and hugs and kisses aj* hey! You made it?!

Aj: *smiles in confusion* of course I made it why wouldn't I?

Rainbow: you were hanging out with rarity in a shopping centre aj, enough said.

Aj: *chuckles* fair enough. Shall we get dinner and then do the gifts?

Rainbow: sure. Be funny to open our gifts when we've got bbq sauce all over our faces.

Aj: *kisses rainbow* you're such a child.

Rainbow: *shrugs her shoulders* eh you love me for it.

Aj: that i do, now come on let's eat.

The girls got their food and then it was time to exchange gifts, much to rainbows amusement they did both have bbq sauce on their faces but that didn't matter. The opened the gift and we're shocked to discover that they'd, bought each other the exact same present without realising it. It was a bracelet which said "you are the one for me" and then you could have your own message engraved onto it if you wish.

Rainbow: *tearing up slightly* i-it's beautiful.

Aj: *holds rainbows face* oh baby are you getting emotional?

Rainbow: *sniffling* y-yeah sorry.

Aj: *wipes the tears from rainbows face* don't be I'm just glad you like it, read the back.

Rainbow: *turns the bracelet over* "dashie you are my rainbow after every storm* cheesy.

Aj: *nudges her playfully* shut up.

Rainbow: *chuckles* ok ok, now you have a look at yours.

Aj: *reads her bracelet* "applejack you are my one true love and my everything, I love you"

Rainbow: I'm sorry it's not as creative as your message but...

Aj: *kisses rainbow* it's perfect.

She continues to kiss rainbows lips a few more times and then they decided to head home to cuddle on the sofa and watch a movie. Once the movie was over they were both really tired so they decided to head to bed.

Rainbow: this has been the best Valentine's Day ever.

Aj: *chuckles* i second that.

Rainbow: *lays on applejacks chest* I love you aj.

Aj: *strokes rainbows hair and kisses her head* l love you too dashie.
