the soft grass touched your back, sighing in happiness you smiled at how beautiful the sky looked. dark blue sky with beautiful stars to decorate it, making it even more enchanting to look at. you finally felt at peace, like if nothing in the world could ever hurt you

the best part was about this whole scenario is that your boyfriend was there to keep you warm, you felt warm and protected in his arms. knowing he was taller than you by many inches it was perfect for you to snuggle into him. you would literally hide your whole body into him like nothing at how small you were.

you pressed your ear against the rooster looking males chest, his heartbeat also calming you down. this was like heaven to you, just this peaceful moment, until kuroo decided to speak up for a bit. "hey, chibi-chan?", you frowned a bit at the nickname he gave you, knowing full well it embarrassed you yet you hummed in response. looking at him with big eyes.

he paused for a bit, his big hand going over to hold your small one. his lips kissing your hand gently before speaking again, "has anything been bothering you? you seem a little down these days, I am just a bit curious on how your mental and physical state is going through.."

you blushed at his cute yet cheesy action, looking down you thought for a bit. thinking it was best to just tell your boyfriend and he honest with him, you did trust him afterall. with a gentle smile you sighed and squeezed his hand softly.

you told him your problems, all the horrible things you have experienced through the past year or so. now that 2020 ended you wanted to completely forget about that horrible year, it brought tears to your eyes just thinking about it because of how horrible that year felt. and how it effected your mental and physical state.

kuroos small smile turned into a worried and upset one, sighing he kissed your face all over knowing how much you loved his face kisses. giggling at your lover for his cute gesture, you couldn't resist him even if you tried to. you adorable, tall and confident science nerd, he was perfect in everyway and you never wanted to let him go.

kuroos voice broke the slight silence between you two, his soft but big hands drawing shapes on your slightly exposed hips. "chibi-chan, I know how hard you want to forget that horrible, horrible year.. I wish that fucking cursed year never happened also. I wish that I could hold you during that year, tell you that everything was going to be okay. i'm so sorry chibi-chan.. but im here now and that's all that matters."

you really didn't deserve this man..

slight tears blurred your vision, hugging your boyfriend even tighter as you let the tears finally spill. your emotions taking advantage of you, even more tears falling out.

"I just want to hold you close.. everyday.. of every night... I just want you here with me.. I love you tetsu.." your big eyes looked at the tall male, he was tearing up too. but he shook it off and kissed your lips softly, the kiss filled with all the love. passion. and warmth

just him alone could make you more happy then ever. and you wanted it to stay that way, you wanted to have your dorky little chemistry nerd with you at all times to repeat the words "I love you" in your ear all the time, wanting all his attention and care..

and he wants to give you so much more then that, he wants to give you all that you ever wanted. he wanted to see your smiling face everyday, of every minute. of every hour, of everyday

and nothing could ever ruin the beautiful feelings you had for each other.

pulling away you sniffled, giggling after as a big smile went on your face. you wiped the tears away and hid your face into his chest once again. his hands going to pet and play with your hair, relaxed you closed your eyes, barely a whisper coming out of your mouth as you said the words

"I love you.. tetsuro.."

"I love you more chibi chan.. always and forever."
