Chapter 15

The drive back to Mix's house is extremely quiet and full of tension. Earth glances at Mix sometimes while driving the car. Meanwhile, Mix is looking out of the window, he has been quiet since they entered the car, not once he talked to Earth. Earth feels uneasy and afraid. When they arrived at Mix's apartment, Mix just dashes out of the car without saying anything or thanks Earth.

Earth unbuckles his seat belt and follows Mix quickly.

"Mix, can we talk please?" he asks while holding Mix's hand. Mix bites his lips and snatches back his hand roughly from Earth.

"What?! What are you going to talk about?!" he shouts at him, still not turns to face Earth.

"Mix, please. Give me a chance to explain please." Earth begs.

Mix lets out a sob

"Chance?! You have so much chances for these past months, so why didn't you take any of them and tell me the truth?! I trusted you Earth!!!"

Mix shouts at his lover and turns to face Earth while wiping away the tears.

"Mix..." Earth pleads him and tries to move forward to wipe away those tears but Mix steps back. Earth feels his heart cracks a little bit because of Mix's reaction.

Mix takes a deep breath and says

"Go back first, Earth. I need time and when I am ready, I will call you."

Then he walks away from Earth, enter his apartment complex. Mix just straights away walk to the elevator, not greeting the guard like usual.

Earth watches Mix walks away from him and with each steps Mix takes, the pain in his heart intensifies. He aware that the pain is not only from him but also from Mix, the pain of being betrayed. Earth gets into the car and puts his head on the handle, tears are flowing down his cheeks and his right hand is holding onto his chest where his heart situated. He tries to speak to Mix in his mind, through their bound

"I will wait for you Mix. I am so sorry. I am really sorry. Please, remember that you are not alone, Mix. You have me, please...please... just come to me if the pains are unbearable. I am willing to share it with you. Just know this Mix, whatever happens, I will only choose to be by your side. I love you, please believe my love to you, they are sincere and only for you. Whatever happened, I will always love you. I can lose everything that I have but not you. I can even sacrifice my life just for you, Mix...."

Earth hopes that Mix heard what he says in his mind. He wants Mix to know that he is not alone anymore and the love that Earth has to Mix is true and sincere.

Mix heard him and that's why he is crying loudly in his apartment. It's great that his roommates, Win is having holiday with his family right now, so he can cry as loud as he wants. Mix is in pain and the only things that he can do to cope with the pains is by throwing away his things to the wall. All of his things on the study table are being thrown away scattered around the room. After a while, he plops down against his bed on the floor that is now full of things that he thrown away just now. He sobs in his arms

"Why me? Why is it always me?! WHY! WHY!!!!" he shouts hoping that the deity or God up there hear him.

Mix cries until his body cannot handle it anymore and he succumbs to the tiredness that he feels after a whole night of crying and shouting. He falls asleep on the floor, curling his body while the sobs are still can be heard coming out of his mouth. Then, he mumbles softly

 "Mom... I miss you."

Meanwhile, Earth who just arrived at the mansion immediately greets his parents who are waiting for him in the living room. Meanwhile, the other occupant in the living room just watches Earth greets their parents and not bothering to greet him. Pod just sighs, he knows that this will happen.

"Podd told us everything. I never thought that Mix is Rania's step son, this might be too big for my baby Mix to handle. How is he, son?" his mother asks Earth but Earth just keeps quiet while staring at Podd. Podd stares back and soon the staring contest turns into the glaring contest between both of them.

Both his mom and dad immediately being alert when they see the tension and fighting around between their two sons. His mother immediately calls him

"Earth..."

"I am going to choose him." Earth suddenly says. His mother walks to him and caresses his arm softly

"Choose what, baby?"

While Podd immediately understands what his younger brother says "And you also know that I will also choose Khao."

Earth chuckles darkly "Of course you will choose him. But you know what? Mix is all alone and he has no one else anymore not after your Khao has stolen everything from Mix."

"EARTH!!!" Podd growls and shouts when he hears Earth mocking his fiancé

"WHAT!" Earth shouts back. Both of their dominance come out and the air is sizzling with the tension between both of them. Their mother moves back when seeing her sons like this, her heart feeling so sad that both of them choose to fight rather than talk nicely. But then, a stronger dominance aura can be feels in the air by all of the people standing there. Their father looks serious and mad but he says calmly

"Alright both of you. Maybe we shall retreat and rest first tonight as a lot of things had happened. Our minds and brains are in state of confusion and it might be affected by the emotions that we are feeling right now. The words that come out of our mouth might be caused by the emotions that we feel right now. So, I want all of us to retreat and go back to our own room and have a rest. Do you understand me?"

Both Podd and Earth nod and walk to their own room not forgetting to glare to each other while the parents are watching them.

"What are we going to do now, Pa?" the wife asks her husband. The husband just sighs heavily

"There's nothing that we can do right now. We cannot meddle into this matter because it doesn't involve us. It's between Mix and Khao, so, let's just monitor our sons' actions so that they do not fight with each other while leaving their soulmates to settle their family problem. We cannot choose side in this matter because both sides have their own story and justification. What we can do is just giving advice if any of them comes to meet us." The husband explains to the wife. The wife just sighs and hopes that her sons are going to be okay and both of them will be mature handling this problem.
