Emily searched for the movie while Olivia took care of the snacks.
-Are you coming?, asked Emily as she sat down on the couch, ready to start the movie.
-One second!, replied Olivia with her hands full.
-You do know that we're not going to eat all of that, right?, chuckled the younger girl.
-Pfff, you may not eat all of this but I am., scoffed Olivia as she put the food down in front of the couch.
-How are you still skinny?, joked Emily.
-I don't know, how are you toned?, replied the older girl.
-Oh come on, I work out a lot., argued the other brunette.
-Mhm, I wonder what you call "working out"., chuckled Olivia.
-I'm just gonna start the movie before I decide to hit you with a chair., said Emily starting the movie.
Olivia sat down next to her best friend. Emily's dog joined them, laying next to the older brunette, who petted him softly. Emily was eating chips that Olivia had brought from the kitchen. They were both pretty focused on the movie and Olivia would quote it now and then, making Emily smile like an idiot. The younger girl put the chips away, not being hungry anymore. Olivia was pretty cold, so she innocently got closer to Emily, feeling her warm body. Emily didn't say anything, but instead put her arm around her best friend. Olivia instinctively rested her head against Emily's chest, her eyes still glued to the movie. Emily looked down at her beautiful best friend and how she would whisper some words and her eyes would glow every time something good happened. A literal child. Of course, she would sing along to every single song, knowing every word to all of them. Emily loved her voice, she sounded like an angel. Then, one of the best Disney songs ever made started playing; "I see the light". Olivia sang along as always, but she eventually looked up at her best friend.
-And at last I see the light. And it's like the fog has lifted. And at last I see the light. And it's like the sky is newAnd it's warm and real and bright. And the world has somehow shifted. All at once everything is different. Now that I see you. Now that I see you., sang Olivia whispering the last few words looking Emily in the eyes.
Emily could feel her heart raising as Olivia's eyes were glued to her. Suddenly, her phone started vibrating, snapping both of them out of that moment. Emily looked at it, seeing a notification.
@ Anne_la_patate started following you.
Olivia saw the notification and looked down and tried to focus on the movie. Emily unlocked her phone and followed her back. Then she got another notification.
Anne_la_patate: Hello beautiful <3
Ems_Quinn: Hey Anne :)
Anne_la_patate: What are you doing?
Ems_Quinn: Watching a movie with Liv
Anne_la_patate: oh right, she's at your house...
Ems_Quinn: Anne, we talked about this
Anne_la_patate: yh i know, enjoy your movie, see you tomorrow beautiful
Ems_Quinn: Goodnight :)
Emily put her phone back down and focused on the movie again, but not having forgotten about the moment she had just shared with Olivia. After half an hour, the movie was over and Olivia had obviously fallen asleep, which Emily had expected. The younger girl put her arms around her best friend and picked her up gently, trying not to wake her up, walking upstairs to her room. Her dog went to his bed, hiding under his blanket. She put Olivia down on her bed, who was still wearing her clothes from school. She debated on whether she should change her or not. She sighed, deciding against it. She walked to her closet and changed into her pajamas. What she didn't notice, was that a certain older brunette was watching her, not making a noise. When Emily turned around, Olivia had her eyes clothes. Emily knew her too well, so she walked up to the bed, grabbed her pillow and hit Olivia with it, making the other brunette giggle.
-I caught you., chuckled Emily.
-Not guilty until proven guilty., smiled Olivia.
-Oh I can make you admit it., warned the younger girl.
-I'd like to see you try., scoffed Olivia.
-Okay., smirked Emily getting on top of the older girl and tickling her.
-S-Stop!, laughed the older brunette.
-Admit you were watching me and I'll stop., replied Emily continuing to tickle her.
-Never!, replied Olivia.
-As you wish., smiled Emily continuing.
Olivia tried to stop the brunette by tickling her back, but Emily grabbed both of her hands, pinning them above Olivia's head. Olivia stopped laughing as their eyes met. Emily stopped moving. Not again. Emily shook her head and got off of Olivia, letting go of her hands.
-We should uh go to sleep. We have school tomorrow., said Emily clearing her throat.
-Yeah, I'm just gonna call my dad to make sure that he's okay., replied Olivia getting out of bed.
The older brunette grabbed her phone and sat down on the bed again, calling her father.
-Dad?, asked the older brunette.
-Where are you!, yelled her mom through the phone.
-Where's dad?, replied Olivia coldly.
-He's asleep. Where the fuck are you!, repeated the mother.
-That's none of your business!, yelled Olivia back.
-I didn't know my daughter was a slut! Get back home or I swear I'll put fire to your room!, warned the mom.
-Do it! I don't care! I'm not coming back! And while you're at it, why don't you stay in the room while it's burning, hm? I think that'd be the best idea ever!, yelled the brunette.
-Olivia Rodrigo, when I find you, you will regret ever talking to me like that! You'll regret running away and pretending to be a victim!, threatened the mom.
-Pretending to be a victim? You wanted to stab me with fucking scissors! I'm not sure, but I am pretty sure a mother is not supposed to do that!, said Olivia sarcastically.
-I did not do such thing!, argued the mother.
-Oh yeah, just liked you didn't break dad's phone when you thought he was cheating on you! Oh and just like you didn't threaten Emily to murder her dog if she ever tried to help me again! Sure! Yeah! Go to hell!, screamed Olivia as she got up and turned her phone off.
