Strange Feelings - A DamiJon story

Chapter 19

Gotham City December 8th 22:30
It had been five weeks since Jon had last seen Damian and now every night he comes to Gotham and just floats in the air with his eyes closed listening for the sound of Damian's voice or his heartbeat which he had become accustomed to. But nothing, he hasn't heard or seen any signs of Damian, there has been murmurs of the League doing some sort of business in Gotham but not even Bruce has located them. It was now also public news that Robin was missing, Bruce and the rest of the family have plans for if Damian goes missing so no one suspected him being gone but five weeks without Robin and people definitely notice. Villains had put rewards out for who ever could find him and average civilians were out looking or him the hopes of meeting Batman.

"Where are you Dami" Jon asked the air

Although he knew that he wouldn't get a response he still held out hope that he would. He stayed there with his eyes closed until he was tapped on the shoulder

"You should go home and get some rest" Cassie said

"Cassie your back, where have you been" Jon asked

"I've been with the Amazons, I swear if I had known I would have been back five weeks ago. Jon we will find him" Cassie replied

"I need to find him first" Jon said

"Why?" Cassie asked

"Because if it was me he would have found me by himself by now and Bruce has told everyone that they can use force if they find him because if he's turned he's the most dangerous and volatile villain we have ever fought, and I don't want him to get hurt" Jon said

"Jon, Bruce isn't wrong he knows all of our strengths and weaknesses, including yours and your emotions is one of them if he still remembers what you two were he will use that against you" Cassie said

"No he won't, he wouldn't he promised he would remember me and he also said he'd go to the Winter Ball with me and that's next week" Jon said

"Jon I'll stay out and look for him you need sleep" Cassie said

"I'm fine" Jon replied

Just then a massive explosion went off in the warehouse district, they both flew towards the fire. Cassie went in to get people out while Jon put the fires out. While Cassie was still working he looked for a cause and found a blast point so it was obviously a bomb

"You found the origin point, Robin taught you well" Tim said

"Yeah he did" Jon said

"Hey cheer up, we will get that little prick back any day we aren't lucky enough for this to be permanent" Tim said

"He's not a p-r-i-c-k" Jon said

"You know your like almost seventeen you can cuss" Tim said

"It's a bad habit I don't want to get into" Jon replied

"You really are a Boy Scout" Tim laughed

"Hey Red Robin, Superboy I found something" an officer said

"What" Tim asked

"A piece of clothing" the officer said

"Thank you officer..." Jon said

"Bard, Officer Jason Bard of the GCPD" Bard said

"Thanks" Tim said

"Hey that looks familiar" Jon said

"Yeah, it's assassins clothing, this was the League" Tim said

"Officer Bard, what was this place before it went up in flames" Jon asked
