You were having an at home date with Nishinoya, and today you both agreed on a movie night.
After fighting over what movie to watch for 30 minutes, you finally decided on watching [ Movie ].
Cuddling with Nishinoya on the couch, paying attention to the movie that played on his laptop, some of the lights were on yet wasn't too bright for the atmosphere to be calm and comfortable.
The night was going well till, the lights went off.
You realized this when the place got pitch black and the movie on the laptop screen had stopped playing, saying that there was no internet connection.
“What happened!?”
“Calm down Yuu, it's just a blackout-”
“But we can't watch the movie!”
“That's true-”
You sat up and quickly searched where your phone was, which was thankfully on the table where the laptop was at. Turning on your phone, and turning on your flashlight, you flashed it at Nishinoya who also sat up.
You went to the window to see if the neighbours houses were also blacked out, and they were.
Nishinoya's parents weren't home today and your phone didn't have data so you couldn't contact your parents, so you have no choice but to wait at Nishinoya's house till the blackout ends.
Luckily, your phone was on 87% which was still plenty enough to keep your flashlight on and potentially play games on it as well.
Nishinoya ran to you with a lighter and a candle “[ Y/N ]! I found something!” he said as you flashed your phone at what he was holding “Oh thank goodness, let's light it up” you said, relieved. “Okay”.
You both went back to sit down on the couch, Nishinoya placing the candle on the table and lighting it up, the warm light illuminating the room slightly.
“Well.. This should do for now..” you said, turning off the flashlight in your phone.
“[ Y/N ]! I found some board games!!” Nishinoya said, running towards you, a couple boxes of board games on his hands. “Let's play then then, which one?” you asked. “You can choose!” he said “Oh.. Sure then, let's play monopoly” you said, moving the candle slightly to the side, the hot liquid wax dropping on your finger as you moved it “Ow!” you said, pulling your hand back to look at your finger.
“Are you okay!?” Nishinoya asked in panic, setting the board games on the table while you ran to the kitchen sink and turned on the faucet, cold water hitting your finger.
Nishinoya ran to you with a first aid box in his hands, finding an ointment cream and bandage.
“I'm fine don't worry, it just a small burn Yuu-” you said, smiling slightly at him “Wait let me find the cream, I know it's here- I FOUND IT!” he said, sighing in relief.
You peeled the dried up wax from your fingers, thankfully it slid right off but left a burn on your finger, you couldn't see it well but it was definitely a different color.
“[ Y/N ], here let me put this on you” your boyfriend called as you showed him your finger, a spot a different color.
Putting some ointment cream, wincing in pain “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” he said worriedly ‘He's too caring..’ you thought “Don't worry, just keep going.” you said.
Spreading the ointment a little and carefully wrapping it up in a bandage to not hurt you too much he tied the ends together.
“Can't believe that candle hurt my queen!” he said, hugging you so suddenly. You froze for a second then hugged him back, laughing slightly “You care too much for me” you said “Of course I do! I don't want my queen to get hurt!” he said, pouting slightly while you just chuckled.
Turning off the faucet, the lights turned back on, causing you to flinch a little. You looked up to see the lights were back on and the laptop screen showed the movie you were watching.
Both of you sighting in relief, walking to the table and blowing the fire off the candle, you both sat back down on the couch.
“Wanna continue the movie?”
“Yeah sure,”
Going back to a cuddling position once again and playing the movie, you both fell asleep after the movie ended.
