as marinette and adrien finally got up, they both sat on the couch, and adrien turned on the news

"don't be bemused it's just the news" the presenter, Nadja chamack said, "a new akumatized villain has just emerged, over to clara contard for the details on ladybug and chat noirs arrival"

marinette and adrien both just stared blankly at the TV, and marinette said, "uh adrien i'm just gonna go and get dressed" she said with a fake grin plastered on her face
"okay mari i'm just going to go and uh grab some food from the canteen" adrien responded
and as quick as anything they both disappeared from eachothers sights

Adriens POV
as i ran down the halls plagg emerged
"i hope you've realised what happened last night mister" plagg said to me floating in the air
"not now plagg" i hurriedly responded
"yeah yeah get marinette pregnant why don't you" plagg said unimpressed
"plagg don't be stupid she's not pregnant" i said
"and you wore protection then?" he said to me still very unimpressed
"plagg not now i have to transform"
"PLAGG CLAWS OUT!" i said, transforming into the very handsome black cat i am ;)

ladybugs POV

i was waiting at the scene for chat to arrive, as i saw the back silhouette leaping from the roof tops, i smiled, i'd started to see chat in a different light recently, but that didn't take away the fact i was still in love with adrien aggreste

nobodies POV
"good morning m'lady" chat said to ladybug
"morning kitty cat" she responded
"got any idea where the akuma is this time bugaboo" chat said smirking
"i think it's in the broach on his jacket" ladybug said bravely

as the pair leaped into action they overheard the villain
"i am le cœur brisé" (the broken heart)
"and i have come to shoot anybody with love in their heart, and turn them to be full of anger and hatred" he said with an evil laugh
"this new villain sure sounds a lot like dark cupid" ladybug whispered to chat
as the pair kicked the door down of le cœur brisé's lair, ladybug called out her lucky charm
"a sock? what am i going to do with this?"

as ladybug looked around, she saw chat, a bungee cord, and some poles from the ceiling light up and flash the polka dot pattern

"chat noir, attach that bungee cord to your belt, now!" ladybug shouted

as chat tied the bungee rope around his waist, ladybug took the other end, and used her yo-yo to launch herself up to the ceiling poles, and attached the bungee chord to them

as ladybug jumped down back to chat, she gave him the sock, and whispered him the plan

as le cœur brisé came closer to them, ladybug threw up her yo-yo to the ceiling, and pulled herself up, she grabbed the bungee rope, and used it to move chat noir around, until she got the perfect angle, as chat was being moved around by the bungee chord, he shoved the sock over le cœur brisé's trigger finger, and cataclysmed the gun

"CATACLYSM!" chat shouted just as he destroyed the gun

the akuma flew out, and ladybug captured it and purified it

"bye bye little butterfly" she said as she watched it fly away

"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" she said, throwing the sock into the air

as everything reverted back to normal, the pair did the iconic "pound it"

the villain had been revealed to be andré the sweethearts icecream maker, after a couple he had paired together had broken up, hawkmoth fed off of his negative energy and akumatised him

"m'lady i would love to stay in the presence of you and your beauty, but i'm about to transform back" chat noir said playfully
"okay kitty" ladybug said with a smile
"i'll see you later" she said as he leaped into the buildings away back to his college

as ladybug ran to a safe space to transform back into marinette, she fed tikki a cookie, and jumped back through her window of the bathroom, and came out

as adrien walked through the door with some food in his hands from the canteen, the pair sat down together, and got on with some of their college work.

as the day went on, their classes started, and adrien and marinette had left their dorm room to start their days.

As marinette walked into her design classroom, she took a seat and began to sketch, as her teacher was already there and had put their instructions onto the white board.

as marinette sketched for a few hours in her class, the bell for her lesson rang, and she headed back to her dorm to meet adrien

as adrien got in he shut the door, and threw his bag down onto the floor

"mari?" adrien spoke
"yes" marinette said, standing on a chair in the kitchen trying to reach some juice"

adrien wanted to talk about what had happened between them last night, but he thought it was probably best to just stay quiet, so he just responded with "oh i just wanted to know you were back okay" as he rubbed his hand on the back of his neck awkwardly.

Marinette also wanted to talk about the incident, and was hoping adrien would have brought it up, but again, she thought it was best not to, as she didn't want to make things uncomfortable.

As the last hours of the college day had flown by, the pair had decided to go on a walk with the stars out

adrien had taken hold of marinettes hand, and they sat on a park bench, watching the stars, and the moon

they sat alone on the bench, holding hands, and gazing into the night

adrien looked over at mari, and moved her head to face him, he leaned in and kissed her pale pink lips passionately

marinette moved into the kiss and felt her stomach radiate a million butterflies

they sat in the moonlight sharing a heartfelt kiss for the night, both realising their feelings for one another were true
