I looked to the woman with a raised brow wondering what the hell she was talking about. It was as if Edward read her mind instantly because he grabbed my waist and pulled me close.
"Whatever you do....don't show or use your powers in front of Charlie."
I frowned getting curious as to what he means but I could only focus on the hand that was rubbing the my small belly.
Sighing I move forward into the house and look around. Uncle Char had a tree in the corner with presents underneath it.
Jacob and Ness both next to it. Him smiling down to the small girl and I could feel his happiness coming from this moment.
Granted he did imprint on a child and that child will end up doing things with him in the future. I hope not but I decide not to think about that yet.
My eyes then took in Seth who was enjoying the food like always. The growing boy was always eating, how? It is beyond me.
But then next thing I see had my anger grow immensely.
There sat Jeremy with Leah on his lap. He had one hand on her waist while he was pointing to the TV. Uncle Char having a football game on.
Neither one could see me but I felt the anger in my veins and you could see it on my face, could easily tell.
If Edward hadn't been holding my waist I would have felt her blood on my fangs.
Closing my eyes I used my own gifts to control my emotions.
Opening them I plastered a smile onto my face before gripping Edwards hand tightly.
"No way he just made that catch!" I spoke loudly moving next to Seth and nudge his shoulder.
He smiled up to me before motioning to the food on his plate.
"I saved some for you guys. Even though I was forced!" He called out and I just laughed before snagging the piece of meat off his plate.
"Mhm sureee."
I teased him before looking to Leah and Jeremy who both looked at me with fearful looks.
I just gave them my award winning smile before turning to the TV.
I didn't notice the stares Bella and Edward gave each before looking to me.
Bella motioned Edward forward which lead him to put his hand on my shoulder.
My eyes went to his and I looked to him before giving a small nod.
"I'm going to grab some food, Ness, Jacob? You want anything?"
The two both nod and I smile before looking to my Uncle, "Beer?"
He nods and I smile before getting up quickly and walking to the window of the kitchen. The snow falling made my eyes switch back to the color between amber gold and red.
