Chapter 20

December 20th Wayne Manor 17:45
Jon was waiting for the girls down in the lounge it had been two weeks since his fall and he hadn't fully recovered, they came to the conclusion that he solar flares while falling and all his power went to his back stopping him from dying on impact. Damian had been sighted twice by Jason and Tim but no contact was made because he always gave them the slip, but tonight was all about fun and Jon didn't feel like it

"Hey lighten up, I'll dance with you if you want" Cassie said

"When I'm not dancing with Conor I will as well" Helena said

"Mom already made me promise I'm not saying it again" Lara laughed

"It's okay, I'll sit there and watch" Jon said

"Cheer up, enjoy the night you helped plan" Cassie said

"I'll consider it" Jon said

"Are you all ready to depart" Alfred asked

"Yeah" they replied but Jon remained quiet

They left the manor and got in the limo, Helena started taking pictures of the group for her Instagram feed, she hated being that person but it was good for the Wayne name of the younger family to interact with people online

"Smile for at least one Jon" Helena said

"What's to smile about, how about I sit out and take the picture" Jon said

"Okay here" Helena said

The girls posed for the photo and Jon took the photo and handed it back over to Helena, she then proceeded to post it and tagged them all including Jon and mentioned he was the photographer in caption

"Jon if you want to leave early tell me and I'll go with you" Lara whispered

"No I'll stay, I just won't be in the partying mood" he replied

"Does anyone know who won Ice king and Ice queen" Cassie asked

"Dr.Medley oversaw that but for some reason she only wanted couples to be entered into it so Cassie, Lara your out of luck" Helena said

Dammit, I liked that crown" Cassie laughed

They arrived to the school hall after a twenty minute drive when they entered they were taken aback by the sight

"We really out did ourselves this time" Helena said

"It wasn't just us but yeah we did" Jon said

"Now it starts in half an hour so last minute details everyone knows what they are doing so go, go, go" Helena said

After the festivities had started and an hour or so had passed Jon walked into the school halls and to the second floor where he stood in front of Damian's locker and just stared at it, he did look around because he felt someone watching but saw nothing

"Dami, I need you please come back" Jon said placing a hand on the locker

He stood there like that crying for five minutes until he felt a hand on his shoulder

"Lara I'm fine I'll be back down in a second" Jon said

But the hand didn't move which kinda angered Jon a bit so he turned to face his sister to find it wasn't her

"Hello beloved" Damian said

"I'm dreaming I have to be" Jon said pinching himself

"Let me help" Damian said pinching him

"So I'm not dreaming, what happened how do you remember" Jon asked

"After our fight two weeks ago, sorry about that. I felt something that didn't want me to hurt you and then you kissing me caused something to go off, my mother used her machine on me again but it didn't work and things were still foggy until I saw you on the news back in action which caused me to wake up. I promised I wouldn't forget and I did I'm so sorry" Damian said
