Casino! Miku Meets Smiling #22

The date was July 10th, 2021. Another beautiful sunny day in Negi Root City. Emory Kiyohara (Smiling #22) was at home, watching TV. Suddenly, an ad pops up.

Announcer: The new hottest shoes are here! And they are 50% off for today only! Come get your brand-new sneakers over at Wal-Mart today.

Smiling #22: Those are the shoes I've always wanted. And my birthday is like 3 months away. I'm going to get them while they're on sale. I can also buy some other things for the lodge like food.

Emory left the house.

Meanwhile, Emory was looking through the shoes in the shoe aisle. He found the shoes that were on sale.

Smiling #22: Sweet!

He grabbed a box and tried them on.

Smiling #22: They fit perfectly. I'm definitely getting these.

He took the shoes off, put on his own shoes, and put the shoe box in his shopping cart. While he was walking sees a woman in a wheelchair trying to reach for something.

Smiling #22: That poor woman needs help.

He approached the woman.

Smiling #22: Hey there.

???: Oh hi. Can you help me? I'm trying to get some toilet paper. You see, I'm running out.

Smiling #22: There doesn't seem to be any workers nearby. Okay, I'll help you.

He reached up and grabbed a stack of toilet paper without any problems.

???: Thank you so much.

Smiling #22: You're welcome.

Casino! Miku: Oh, I'm Shavonne. Nice to meet you.

Smiling #22: I'm Emory. Nice to meet you, too. I have to ask, though. Why are you in a wheelchair?

Casino! Miku: An accident...when I was really young. I don't want to talk about it.

Smiling #22: I see. I think you're the only Miku module I've seen that's in a wheelchair.

Casino! Miku: Really?

Smiling #22: Yeah.

Casino! Miku: Huh.

Smiling #22: Well, there's a Len module that's also in a wheelchair.

Casino! Miku: You mean Aitetsu Hoshino?

Smiling #22: Yep.

Casino! Miku: I didn't know that. I guess it's probably because I'm not in school anymore.

Smiling #22: How old are you?

Casino! Miku: 26.

Smiling #22: 26?! I'm only 20.

Casino! Miku: You're kidding! How tall are you?

Smiling #22: The last time I weighed myself, I'm 5'9".

Casino! Miku: I'm just one inch shorter than you. I'm 5'8". But when I'm sitting in this wheelchair, I'm 2 feet shorter.

Smiling #22: I see. So, can you navigate on your own?

Casino! Miku: Yeah. I can even go to the bathroom and shower on my own, too.

Smiling #22: Cool.

Casino! Miku: Well, thank you again for helping me.

Smiling #22: Are you done with your shopping?

Casino! Miku: Yep. The toilet paper was the last thing I needed.

Smiling #22: Okay then. It was nice meeting you.

Casino! Miku: You too. Bye now.

Shavonne wheeled away. Emory could only watch her leave.
