I see you like the moon sees the Sun
Like the bees who kiss the pollen
And strike it with their tongueI see you like the birds see the sky
Flying about into night's drive
Flinging around into day light
Dragging towards the warmth of the SunAnd I wonder if you see me like the Sun sees the moon
Staying true to night's blue
Trying to reach you but not through
Shining in the dark but not as bright
Killing the air that makes delight
To ignite pillows we pursue
YOU ARE READING
you.
PoetryWriting about you strips me away from everything I thought I knew. Makes me feel things I thought weren't true. Visions our days to yet be new.
