why was he here. he shouldn't be here. he should be locked away, till his bones are too brittle to hold him up. he didnt want to see that mans sadistic painted grin ever again, he wanted to crush that mask right before crushing that mans skull in.

he wasnt supposed to be walking down that wooden path, where they had fought ages before, towards tommy as he stood unsure what to make his next move.

"you never thought you'd see me ever again would you tommy?" he walked over to the blond as if they were old friends and not like he had tormented the younger for so long. "did you miss me? didn't you say how you couldnt wait to kill me? how you wanted to see the life drain out my eyes? wheres that spark now?"

tommy took a step back.

dream followed.

"you're...you're not supposed to be here.." his heart beat fast, thinking of his next move. "you fucking monster, how did you get out.."

what did he do to deserve this? here he was face to face with dream, unprepared and with no one else online. it was unfair..

tommy flinched as he saw dream quickly pull out a sword, which tommy had no clue where he obtained it, and held it to the youngers throat.

"now you're gonna go and grab a sword, and we're gonna fight. i'd feel awful beating a kid without giving him a fair chance." he pressed the sword forward. "plus, last time I killed you it wasnt as fun as I hoped."

soon enough they were back on the path, both possessing a simple iron sword. the tension was thick, neither of them speaking for a few moments.

"so how do you want to do this tommy? just count down and go for it? make the choice since you're such an independent young man." he snickers and pointed his sword in tommy's direction "i'm wating."

tommy took a deep breath. he knew one of them wasnt going to make it out of this. dream wanted him gone. but tommy wanted dream gone, and this was the perfect moment.

"you're dead big man."

he let all rationale leave him as he lunged forward, clash swords with dream. they both fought mercilessly, no words spoken and only the sounds on footsteps and rapid swords could be heard. tommy was managing to gradually push dream back along the path, towards the slabs that brought the path up.

"i hope you burn." tommy spoke firmly before they took one last step back and dreams foot tripped on the slab, cause his to fall back and his sword fall a couple feet away.

it  was a cliche demise as tommy immobilized him by shoving him against the path with his foot.

dream knew his plan had failed, the kid had admittedly defeated him. "any last words you monster?" tommy spat out, malice behind the words.

"you're unfixable tommy, not even tubbo wants you back."

tommy didnt want to hear anymore, lifting his sword up and plunging it in dreams chest, not by any vital organs, but where it would stop him from getting up and cause him to slowly bleed out, prolonging his suffering.

he took a breath before pulling the sword back out and bring it to dreams masked face, taking hook of the mask and slicing it off to reveal his face.

what he saw wasnt not what he thought he'd find, dream was still conscious of course, though there was blood pooling in his mouth, occasionally he would cough it up slightly. what really unnerved him was the black veins spreading from below where he could see, up to his neck and spread across his face. it seemed to have gotten his eye aswell, one it's natural cerulean colors while the other was almost completely blacked out.

it seemed as if the spark behind dream eyes had faded as he coughed once more. "thank you...and please-" he choked on the blood slightly "tell george i love him.."

tommy let the sword fall, clattering to the ground.
