Yoo Ki's POV

Today is the day I'm heading back to the Philippines. Because of what happened at Tita's—uh, I mean Eomma's—place, they won't be able to come back with me. I told them I needed some time to process everything that happened.

They promised to follow after a month, and it turns out Yunji knew about everything too. He said he was happy I finally knew. He admitted that he stopped himself many times from calling me to tell me about it, but he knew the time would come when I'd find out myself.

I'm happy because it turns out I still have a mother. It's sad that I didn't get to grow up with her, but she promised to make it up to me and be there for me through everything. She even said she's going to learn Tagalog so they can live here, in the Philippines. Yunji already calls her "Eomma" too, I can tell he's grown really close to her. Eomma's nice but strict, which is probably why my brother turned out so well.

My brother also said that even if we're only half-siblings, it doesn't change the fact that I'm still his beloved Noona.

Now, I'm on the plane heading back to the Philippines. I spent the whole flight just staring out the window, and I didn't even realize I'd fallen asleep.

I woke up when we landed. I quickly turned off airplane mode as soon as I got off the plane so I could get in touch with people. I smiled as I felt the warm breeze hit me. It's a bit hot here, so I took off my jacket.

After grabbing my luggage, I sat in the waiting area near the gate. I looked around for a bit, hoping to see Oswyn, since he promised to pick me up when he last called. It's been three days since then, and I haven't heard from him since.

I looked at his caller ID, hoping he'd call to say he was on his way.

"Are you waiting for Oswyn?" I jumped when someone spoke beside me. He was wearing a mask and hoodie again, and it took me a moment to recognize him. Him again? What is this guy doing here?

"How do you know him?" I asked, still in shock. He just laughed. I could only see his eyes, and it looked even weirder with the hoodie in this hot weather. "And more importantly, why are you here?"

"He can't pick you up, so I'm here to get you instead," he said, not really answering my question, so I just stared at him. "Let's go, I'm afraid someone will recognize me again—"

"No one told you to get me here," I snapped, causing him to stop in his tracks. He stared into my eyes for a moment and then laughed. He straightened up and forcefully took my luggage. I snatched it back, and we ended up playing a game of tug of war. Noticing people starting to stare, I quickly let go and averted my gaze. "Give it back to me now," I hissed in a threatening tone. He just stared at me before turning his back! Left with no choice, I followed him.
