Jeremy looked to Vicky fearfully. he looked at the bloodshot eyes that stared back at him and the fangs that grew from Vicky's gums. He staggered back as Vicky stepped closer not realizing that Sam was just around the corner. "Jeremy get away from her!" Sam called you to Jeremy who turned to him looking confused. "I don't get it!" Jeremy called out in panic. "What's going on?" He asked in a worried confusion looking to Sam, then back to Vicky's bloodshot eyes which glared at him viciously. "Jeremy get back!" Sam demanded pushing Jeremy away from Vicky as she lunged for him. Jeremy staggered lost for words as Sam picked up a broken piece of wood and ran it through the chest of Vicky who looked up at him looking pained by the act. Sam returned a look of guilt as Dean crept up behind her and swung his machete through her neck taking her head clean off causing Jeremy to let out a pained cry as his sister, Elena held him back and the two brothers walked away leaving the body behind and stepping into their jet black car to drive away.

"You realize we can't leave yet, right, Dean?" Sam asked him quietly.

"Yeah I realize." Dean responded just as quietly. "Not until every last vampire here is dead." Dean finished glaring right ahead of them.

Back at the Salvatore boarding house, a few hours later, Stefan was stood quietly in his room, the night showing through his open window, the one Damon had come through for their unwanted reunion, unwanted by Stefan anyway. He looked out that very window before pulling a book off of his bookshelf to open it. Inside there was a picture of someone who looked exactly like Elena. He stared at it sadly for a few minutes before closing the book and picking up a small box, opening it to look at the silver necklace shaped similar to a shell of some kind and a red stone at the top. He let out a deep sigh and closed the box to put it in his jacket before leaving the house.

That same night, at the Gilbert household, Elena was sat outside alone to grieve the loss of her brothers girlfriend. Stefan suddenly appeared at the foot of her pathway walking up to her to sit next to her. "Can you get rid of it?" She asked. "His suffering I mean. Like, make him forget?" She asked looking to Stefan pleadingly.

"I don't know." He said, his voice filled with sympathy. "I don't know if I'm strong enough. I don't know if it will work." He continued trying not to upset her even more. Before Elena could say anything, a familiar voice spoke from behind them.

"I'll do it." spoke Damon, clad in a black t-shirt, jeans and boots with his matching black leather jacket. "Just tell me exactly what you want him to remember." Damon requested looking at Elena for a response.

"Tell him that Vicky left town, and that he shouldn't look for her, because she's never coming back." She began close to tears, wanting nothing more than for her little brother to stop suffering. "Take away his suffering. Tell him, he will miss her but he knows it's for the best." She finished beginning to cry quietly. Damon looked at her and nodded as he walked into the house.

The next morning seemed different. Nobody knew what happened that night, not except for Elena and the two sets of brothers. Jeremy was sat in the office being interrogated by the Sheriff in the principles office. "All I know is that she went out of town." He said calmly. "And that I shouldn't look for her, because she's never coming back." He continued as the sheriff wrote in her report, her blonde hair hanging slightly over her shoulders as she did. "I'll miss her, but I know it's for the best." Jeremy finished before the Sheriff who's badge read "Forbes" dismissed him.

Outside and inside the school, decorations were being taken down and the day was going normal, Sam and Dean were leaning on the black impala, each had a glass bottle in hand. "You know what this means, don't you Sammy?" Dean asked looking at him.

"What?" Sam asked looking back, the wind catching his long, thick hair.

"We need to get jobs..." Dean said rather grimly at the idea of staying in one place.

"And find somewhere to live." Sam added continuing to look at his brother.

"So let's do it." Dean said suddenly rather eager again. Come on Sammy, we got jobs to find, houses to scout, and Vampires to kill." He finished getting back into the car. Sam simply let out a slight chuckle as he walks around to get into the passenger seat to hear Dean blare out his music in the car as the drive down the road.

Sheriff Forbes walked up to her office door which was being hammered on. She opened the door and stared at Dean Winchester wearing a black suit and tie standing at the door. "Uh... Sheriff Forbes? My name is Dean Smi--" He paused for a moment then cleared his throat. "Dean Winchester." He then said quickly.

"And what can I do for you, Mr. Winchester?" The blonde woman asked impatiently.

"I'd like to join the force." Dean said seriously.

In the classroom, Elena and the rest of her class are sat in a classroom, A man with long hair walks into the class "Good morning class!" He said eagerly as he turned to face the class with a sassy smile like no other. "I am Mr. Winchester, but my friends call me Sam." He said continuing his smile and he relaxes slightly picking up a book off of his desk. "And I will be your English teacher from here on out." He finished.

In a dark room with Sheriff Forbes, Sam and Dean are sat in chairs in front of the Sheriff's desk. "What do you mean you're Hunters?" She asked them questioningly.

"You know..." Sam began awkwardly. "We hunt..." He said.

"Like... Wolves and Foxes?" Sheriff Forbes asked with an innocent, unknowing attitude.

"Alright listen." Dean interrupted. "We know about the Vampires." He snapped in frustration causing Sheriff Forbes to drop her composure.

"Why does this woman look like Elena!?" Dean shouted aggressively at Stefan in his own bedroom gesturing to the photo he was holding.

Sam stood in the woods with Damon holding a pendant. "I got this from Bonnie." Sam said calmly. "Why do you want it so badly?" He asked coldly after.

"To free the love of my life." Damon responded with sorrow in his voice.

Dean and Sam were stood inside a small living room with a middle aged woman wearing what looked like a business suit and skirt, her hair tied up in a bun. "So... There's this tomb... That all the vampires went under before you were all torched in a church... Back in 1864..." Dean relayed back to the woman. "We can't get them out!" He then protested.

"They deserve to live their lives too, Dean." Sam argued.

"Well maybe there's a reason they're locked inside!" Dean snapped back.
