A rich smell of roses and many other flowers filled my nose as I wondered the forest searching for something I didn't even know I was looking for. There were shrubs in the way of my path where I knew I needed to go. I pushed through and a lake came into my view. The sun was shining on the crystal blue lake making it glitter and glimmer.
My eyes shifted downward to the sleeveless, flared out, red dress. The small beads glimmered just as the lake did and its gorgeous lining figured out my curves nicely.
A splash caught my attention and I flashed my daze towards the lake. His eyes glowed a brilliant blue, sending small shivers down my back. His short-medium blonde hair was sleeked down from the water and every drip-drop off of the tips of his hair trailed down his toned out stomach.
David walked out of the lake and made his way towards me. When he reached me, his hand reached up and tugged at my hair whispering, "wake up Devi." He paused and again he said with a little more power, "wake up Devi."
Confusion was pouring on my face as he continued to play with my hair. "I'm already awake."
He shook his head and gave a sweet smile. He didn't say anything else but I could tell by his expression that he was saying the same thing over and over.
I glanced towards the beautiful lake that had the sun shining on it. If this was a dream, it was pretty obvious that I didn't want to wake up to it.
David placed both of his hands on each of my shoulders and with a sudden shake, everything began to crumble away. I felt two small pressures on my stomach and soon the sunlight began to get brighter and brighter blinding the lake and the scenery that I had witnessed.
Suddenly, David's face came into my vision, only this time; I felt my back pressed against the cold ground of the already fallen snow. Plus, David was no longer wet like he was. He was wearing the clothes that he had been wearing from the last time before the dream that I had.
"She's finally awake!" Pepper shouted sending a ringing through my skull.
I flinched and covered my ears, waiting for the ringing to stop. "You have to be quiet." David quietly mumbled to the twins, "you guys send poison throughout her body that could have easily killed something a bit smaller." His eyes then shifted towards me.
"Poison?" I managed to get out of my mouth. My stomach ached as I tried to sit up and the pounding in my head became more distinct in the sudden motion.
David nodded, "these little buggers have poison in their fangs that can easily kill a big dog. If they really wanted to kill you, all they had to do was bite just a bit harder." He wrapped his arm around me so I wouldn't fall from the dizziness that I was starting to feel again.
I leaned on him as I sat there on the ground and closed my eyes. My head was buried in his chest and I could hear his heart pounding softly as he inhaled and exhaled. His fragrance gave me a soft and fluffy feeling in my stomach instead of the aching. My headache slowly shriveled away by every thumb of his heart against my face and the dizziness vanished just like the rest.
