~Jisung~

We forgot about the kiss quickly as we became developed in our work. Chan had sent us some instrumental samples and we listened through them, trying to find the right one. We settled for one with a slightly darker tone and heavy base. It wasn't my usual style but it sounded pretty cool and the smile it caused Felix to have lifted my mood.

Now we were trying to come up with the lyrics. Felix was squinting as he read out the same line over and overtrying different styles to try and get our point across.

"Wow, my mind's shot." He sighed, rubbing his temples and letting out a small laugh.

I stretched my back and groaned, "Same, but our break is coming up so we should try to work steadily."

Felix looked at the clock and smiled, "Yeah you're right." He said, leaning back on the couch and bringing the laptop with him. I leaned against his shoulder to get a better view of the screen and he put his cheek on my head. I blushed slightly and tried not to think too much into it.

"I have secrets, ones held deep inside that I try to hide. Secrets that even I don't fully know. But with your help, maybe for even just a moment, I can forget about them. Forget and see what's right in front of me." He sang lightly, his voice ringing out beautifully. He was into the lyrics, adding some slight rises and falls.

I smiled, feeling my heart warm-up, "Lix, I think that was it!" I grabbed his arm and shook him.

"You really think so?" He asked, smiling brightly, "It's been so long since I've actually sung so I'm not used to it." He added, looking slightly embarrassed.

I shook my head, "No you sounded great man!"

He reached out and grabbed the microphone we had been given, plugging it into the laptop and getting ready. He took in a deep breath and repeated the lines again, this time with more confidence as he sang into the microphone. His face held so much concentration. He furrowed his brow and closed his eyes shut tight.

He finished the recording and automatically gave me an awkward smile. He then played it back, his smile growing as he heard the voice sample with the song in the background.

I had written the lyrics. They were lyrics that Felix had made the idea for, saying that the concept was familiar to him. The lyrics had come out well, and I was taking a liking to them.

"I can't wait to actually record this." Felix said excitedly.

I nodded back, "It'll be fun!"

He looked at me for a moment, an odd look on his face, then looked to the camera. He blushed for a second and grabbed a pillow. He pushed the pillow into my face.

"Ah! Lix what are you doing?" I struggled to get the pillow away from my face, laughing.

"Suffocate the genius." He giggled back.

I reached out and started tickling his side, causing him to drop the pillow and try to get my hands away from him, squirming in my grasp.

"There can be only one!" He yelled through his laughs. He broke free from my grasp and grabbed the pillow again. I grabbed one too and we started to hit each other lightly with them.

We were having fun, and Felix seemed to be less on edge. He was smiling brightly and his demeanor was aloof. I loved this.

There was a noise from outside our door, and we both froze, looking to the door with wide eyes as it opened. Chan looked back at us in pure confusion.

"I- uh... came in to check on you guys." He said, "Have you come up with anything, or have you just been messing around?"

Felix nudged me one more time then set the pillow aside, nodding at Chan, "Jisung started writing the lyrics and I got some samples recorded." He said, then pointed to the laptop, "You want to hear it?"
